I own 2 Cordoba Guitars. One cost me some money because the guitar was made by hand in Spain and it was a new guitar and is a Flamenco Guitar particularly made by the sounds of Flamenco music. The other I bought it used made in California by Cordoba and is a ''classical guitar''. I am very happy with all of them. The sound of Cordoba guitars is unique and cannot be compared with any other sounds.
@@gilliganski it's very easy and enjoyable to play and sounds very nice amplified, kind of a perfect crossover guitar for a classical guitarist like me.
Nice presentation. I own a traditional style Cordoba, a C10 Parlor and it has a nice warm sound... This one is interesting and $300 less than my C10 cost me. What I am interested is obtaining a copy of the Both Sides Now arrangement he performed.
Hopefully i can find one at our guitar center to check out..i know some guy's don't like them...but after all, its not a full body classical, so can't expect to get that sound...
Por fin alguien que toca una demo de esta guitarra con el buen sonido clásico de una mano derecha profesional !! enhorabuena por la interpretación, el talento y el buen gusto. Parece que hoy en día vale todo lo mismo, pero, como siempre, no.
I always love Uros' playing. He did an especially nice job on this "Both sides now" performance. For those of us familiar with Uros' music and equipment, it's clear he didn't string the guitar himself, looking at the tuning peg string wrapping. (Uros will know what I mean. 😉) By the way, someone at Cordoba should correct the small error on Cordoba's website for this model. Scroll down to Specifications/Body and one will see the "frets to body" is listed there at 14 rather than the correct 12. The description at the top of the page is correct, but the number in the Specifications is not. Anyway, nice work, Uros!
Love the look and sound of this Cordoba Stage. It would be good to state the amplification used. I tried one of the original Cordoba Stage guitars in a music shop played through a Fender Acoustic amplifier and wasn’t all that happy with the sound - This model is more to my liking with the classical width neck. When they become available in Australia I’d like to try one using my AER Compact Classic which is voiced for classical instruments.
No amplification was used for the demo, it's recorded using the DI out through a passive DI box into the audio interface (80% of the sound) and I used two condenser microphones at about 2 feet away to widen the stereo image (20% of the sound here). I tried the new Stage Traditional with an AER Alpha, it's a really good match so it should sound really nice with the Compact Classic as well.
So beautiful, I can't stop listening. I tried a Cordoba Stage and the guitar did not call out to me. I wonder if it is a quality thing and I just need to keep trying to find the right one. Can you share details of how this was recorded?
When this guitar with the neck of the original stage? I prefer cedar on the top... And if someday you put cypress on the back... these would be the perfect stage guitar. Cheers!!!
well two thoughts on this because I have a regular Cordoba that has the indwelling pick up on our the studio model and it sounds great and you have to tweak it to make it really you know perfect but you can say that of any of these guitars. But when I first heard this guitar sounded more like it had a steel string kind of sound it was a little. A little unnatural sounding somehow artificial, bit like that but the more I'm listening to it it sounds pretty natural but like I said again it's really hard to tell unless you play it in person but I will be checking it out in Guitar Center perhaps
Does anyone find that the customer service of Cordoba is non-existent? My C10 tuning pegs is broken but no one will answer me on how to get a replacement.
is it too much reverb or do the notes all blend together to much like its hard to hear the melody pop out. might just be me BUT it does have a nice sound overall
The description mentions "unplugged". Is this literally just being picked up by a microphone for the recording, without the guitar being plugged into an amplifier?
Hi Gary, I think they are referring to the "Unplugged acoustic" style of music that dates back to the MTV days - music you'd normally play with electric instruments, arranged for acoustic ones, though the players were usually still amplified. This sample is recorded using DI out (most of what you're hearing) and two microphones for spreading out the stereo image. Plus reverb and limiter.
I am very unhappy with a guitar of your manufacture which does not have compensation in the bridge because there must be a difference in the distance 650 to 651 in the bridge part of the sixth string so that the tuning is correct and you take care of the air and plucked string at the 12th fret, unfortunately I cannot play This guitar is out of tune in the second quadrant of the fingerboard. I would greatly appreciate it if you could exchange my guitar for one that is better made. In exchange, I offer to promote your guitars here in the city of Piura, Peru, where there are many good guitarists who always look for quality. when purchasing guitars. I hope to be served as I put my hopes in your guitars, thank you very much.
Precio desorbitado .
I have just bought one. ¡what a disappointment! The sound you hear in this video is going through all kinds of equalizations, because the guitar doesn't sound like that. In fact, the only knob that works is the volume knob. The other two do absolutely nothing. Again: what a disappointment!
this is not great. it's a recording of a duet - but one player is shown?. there's too much reverb. it's a very nice guitar - it's a more classical variation of the Cordoba Stage. They should point out the distinction. Oh well, all is good.

@UrosGuitar What amplifier did you use? And what exact model of guitar? I’m interested in buying one myself
Wow!! It sounds so great! Goosebumps❤❤❤
It really sounds beautiful and looks beautiful too.
This is the best video for tone and performance for this Cordoba model...Keep in mind you have to be a good player to produce a good sound.
Thank you kindly🙏
In a word . . . AWESOME!
This guitar sounds beautiful, I found a used one for sale in my local guitar shop, had to purchase it.
Thank you for doing this, today we need music like this, thanks.

I have 3 Cordobas. I think it's time for #4 :) I like the lack of "quackiness" to the tone.
I'm hesitating to buy this guitar because I'm afraid I'll regret it. It was attractive to be able to create different variation of tones.

I wish this guitar had a 50mm neck versionm just like the acoustic guitars
Wow😊
great guitar, song. Uros rocks! Get the newer fusion style. A back knee, or standing guitar needs a smaller neck 48-50mm for left hand relief.

Just keep making classical guitars that are really really good. If you get bored of that, just make them better.
