Being someone who is getting a late start on loving makeup (didnt really wear any til i hit 20ish.. 25 Now).. I saw your collection and i was in AMAZEMENT. My husband is getting things to "start" my own little makeup room, desk.. Storage.. Ect ect. I do not have near as much stuff as you have in one drawer ha but ive found a new love (or obsession if you ask the hubby). I use your collection as a goal and love all your videos. I swear i talk about your videos like your family around my house ha. My aunt actually originally followed you and suggested i joined your blog and channel and i am soooo glad i did. Ive learned so much from watching you as well as others and youve gave me the courage to try products and colors id never look at before. So thank you for being awesome and opening this new world wide open for me!!

After watching your collection, which was so fun to watch, I noticed you don't ever talk about luxury makeup brands like Guerlain, Tom Ford, YSL, Chanel, Burberry, etc. Would you ever consider introducing reviews/tutorials on those luxury brands?
She does have a few videos here and there that you have to search for but her channel is mostly specifically catered to only drugstore. But she does have higher end reviews
I consider her to be knowledgeable in a lot of makeup products but was so surprised she didn't have as higher end stuff ! That's pretty neat though. She can cater to those who can't afford Chanel.
I do have some higher end stuff in there from some brands you mentioned :) If I went through & named everything specifically, it would've taken ages. I admit drugstore is my favorite- love discovering diamonds in the rough :)
emilynoel83 I love that you focus on drugstore and throw in a little high end. I have been watching others that started out with drugstore and now focus mainly in high end and I feel I have nothing in common with them any more. Please don't change that too much.

I saw this video when you first posted it and I'm back again because nobody has a makeup collection like yours where instead of always going by brand, you actually go by colors or shade or even finishes. Yes it is a different tag that has not caught on as much as the perfect palette tag. It's called the palette collection tag and I don't know who came up with it but Jen luv's reviews did a video called confessions of a palette addict tag and I have seen a few others, but that video I liked that she took the time to show her entire collection. Love you Emily! I watch and rewatch all of your videos, because of you I can make the best choice on what to spend my money on. I really enjoyed your favorite too faced palette video and would love to see other videos like that from different brands.

Your collection is incredible, especially the lip section. It makes so much sense to have lipsticks on one drawer and the glosses on another drawer. I also loved your idea of keeping things by color, I just tend to group things by brand and often I ignore products that way. Thanks for sharing your collection with us!

I think it's fantastic that you categorize/organize by color oppose to brand. So much more likely to use new products, discover things you forgot about and find new faves! I've always had mine that way and I find it to be much more efficient. Thanks for sharing!!

Love how you subdivide the categories by eyeshadow color, concealer consistency, primer purpose... Makes so much more sense than dividing your entire collection by brand.
I've seen many collection on TH-cam channels, but this by far is the largest. Omg- I'm half impressed,half traumatized lmao(jk). But I think you're are the sweetest and are going to be the best mom ever. It's life changing and the greatest experience you will ever have. It's magical! Take care and do lots of relaxing.

The buggiest and I mean huge collection I have seen is by Tarababyz. She has stacks and stacks of these beautiful storage units filled with the most expensive and drug store makeup!
Take a look at Maya Mia (or Mia Maya)'s makeup collection. She'll give Emily a run for her money! Both are impressive!

Great collection! I really hope you have a lock on that door lol I am a mom of 3 and I am letting you know that makeup room will NOT last one day in the mommy world. Everyday 1 of my kids gets into at least 1 of my makeup drawers :)
And my kids never messed around with the cheap or easy to replace stuff--my little graffiti artists always went straight for the Estée Lauder or my discontinued favorites!
Especially the ones that look like crayons!!!
For someone who does makeup, this is such a cool collection! I love the way you reused the drawers and dish tray. I have tons of different makeup trays. I found that the mesh office tray sets fit the best, by allowing the most room for my products I'm really into rose gold. I just found the best spray paint. I have a short paper sorter file cabinet from a cousin which I plan to used as a makeup or jewelry cabinet under my table or desks. I depotted my CoveGirl quads and other palettes into a CD case and a SHEA MOISTURE case. Thanks for sharing!
That's quite the collection! I realize it has been building for years, but when do you decide to pull the plug on items? Is it when they're not longer in regular rotation, or if they start to look and smell funky? lol Just curious.
I am wondering this too! Especially since most makeup isn't good after 3-4 years.
She probably would keep things that are old/expired anyways because she mentions random things all the time, and it's probably handy to keep so she can show them.
Well keep in mind she also has some collecter/limited edition type things and also products that have sentimental value to her that we all know how have it is to get rid of our makeup!
When I have certain shades that don't work for me or that I'm not planning to use/talk about anymore, I share with family. Other things I just throw out when it's old. And then there's another category of things that I hold on to for the purpose of reviews-- it might be a discontinued, older product that I'm not going to use on my face, but I want to keep it to compare shade/texture to something newer that comes out & pass along that info in reviews :)
I think it would be interesting to show some of the oldest items in your collection and give a brief comment about it, like where you got it, or why you chose it...like a makeup memory time capsule.
I love how you include drugstore products into your collection! I feel that a lot of makeup collectors and artists have nothing but high end makeup and for me it's a bit intimidating. But seeing that you have and love drugstore products has actually inspired me to buy a few drugstore stuff that I am now in love with so thanks :)
And I thought I had a lot of make up. I used to have a lot but when I started watching TH-cam videos I bought tons & tons more than I will ever use. Nothing compaired to yours. In fact, I think you have more than I have ever seen & I have watched a whole lot of collections from gurus but thats cool. My addictions go from nail polish to make up to shoes to purses & right now I'm on a jewelry addiction & I have more jewelry than anyone I know so it's all good I think LOL Love your videos & keep on collecting.

Anyway, this just makes me want to have my own makeup room too! I am the same way with organizing what I have as far as separating them and everything, and I can totally see myself having drawers like those if I had more room in my house.

I was just at Sephora and needed something like this and they suggested the Urban Decay 24/7 Black Velvet liner. It's a combo of their best selling black liner and their black eye shadow so its a bit drier and won't be going anywhere. A big tip for making eyeliner last longer is to set it with a shadow of the same colour, so I trust that this liner will work well!
I've been using Benefit's They're Real Liner from a RT accent brush onto my tight line recently. It's a bit of work but has been working well the last few days until I find something a little more convenient.
I really like the maybelline gel liner in my waterline, but specifically the charcoal colored one seems to stay best, don't ask me why haha

Inglot Cosmetics AMC eyeliner gel in shade 77 (Inglot uses #'s instead of the actual name of the color, so shade 77 is their black) costs $12, is waterproof & can be used in your water line. They have other shades as well (all different colors from your regular browns & purples to whites, reds, bright greens, blues, pinks, etc ...). It is absolutely amazing! So creamy & pigmented. I've been having a lot of problems with allergies this season & my eyes have become incredibly sensitive & watery & I use this gel liner on my waterline & tightline & it goes nowhere! I apply it with my Real Techniques eyeliner brush & a high end brand being only $12 is amazing to me. Especially for how well the product works. Hope this helps 😊!

Jenny Linehan Emily is my favorite!! I could watch her ALL day and never get bored.. and I always trust her opinions..She's one of the most honest people on here.. I agree with everything you said.. Very sad about Melissa - I agree. She used to be one of my favorites.. I think I finally given up on her - I get too annoyed when I watch her videos now.. I guess I just kept wishing she'd center herself and come back "to us", but that seems unlikely.. Thanks for the nice response!!

Jenny Linehan I had to unsubscribe from her channel also (Melmphs). I was new to her channel and just asked a question and I got jumped on all over the place by what must have been someone who was with her for a long time) I felt really bad, I sure didn't want to create any problems I just didn't know her channel well enough I guess and because of that and because she herself didn't even care to respond but let someone else talk for her, I unsubscribed. Some people seemed to feel the need to defend when I think these beauty gurus are very intelligent women and I believe they can take care of any situation themselves. I don't understand any of this, as we are all just on here to learn and have fun, but even when you are asking an honest question, they feel the need to jump down your throat, I will not be a part of that sort of channel anymore. There are too many other beauty channels out there to pick from to put up with that sort of thing:)

First Makeup collection i actually watched the whole way. I was amazed! It was so interesting how much thought u put in the storage! This is totally why I am a supporting subbie!
Have you thought about insuring that collection? I am serious. I lost a lot of my collection when I had a water main break in my bathroom. Flooded my drawers, but then again, I didn't have your collection. I've had a fire years ago (parents did, but I was there), I lost about 250.00 back in '79. The water main break was about the same. To lose all of that would be years of money spent down the drain. Do an inventory and even though you got some of that sent gratis by the companies', it's still something that costs money to replace. You are doing this for your income now, (video vlogs) so get some insurance on that (copious!) stuff.
I am loving the new setup and the expanded makeup collection! I have shamelessly watched this 3+ times already. Collection videos are my FAVORITE! :D Thanks for doing this!

Just my opinion way to much makeup. I know I will get a lot of haters for saying this just what I'm thinking as I'm watching.
no problem! one thing to keep in mind- trying tons of makeup is what gives me the knowledge to do what I do and draw comparisons, know how things stack up, etc. It's basically my education & makes me more well-informed to review products.

For the average women, yes, this would be too much makeup. However, makeup is her job! Would you tell an artist they have too much paint?

I just wanted to thank you. Right now I'm currently pregnant with a baby I'm having for my husbands aunt/sister (It's his aunt by blood but his grandmother adopted him so by law she's his sister) Right now I'm 35 weeks and 5days and way bigger then I was with my own kids (gained almost 50 pounds which is a lot when you started at 108) and you make me feel like I can look just as beautiful as if I wasn't pregnant and that makes this loooooong 40 weeks so much easier so a huge huge thank you to you.
Honestly i've seen so many girls on youtube call themselves beauty gurus and keep an enormous collection of makeup, most of which they dont really do any useful reviews. But you definitely use this makeup for our benefit and because you truly love the work that goes into good content. This collection is so beautiful....lol. Thanks emily!
