i think that for your job, compared to other gurus whom only do makeup on themselves and OCCASIONALLY freelance. your collection is actually pretty reasonable. ive seen some YT gurus with HUGEE desks filled with makeup and everything is bulging out and like 3 of those tall drawers that everyone has and I'm like how do you use all of that

Do you keep expiration dates in mind or does it not matter? Also, how do you keep older products sanitary? Often times bacteria can grow and cause breakouts. Just curious. so any professional make up artist will have multiple brushes to use on her clients and will wash them after a day's work. To keep your make up clean you can use a slate instead of dipping your brush or if you do dip your brush then there are alcohol based sprays to keep shadows clean.
From what I understand, liquid products expire a lot faster. And me personally, how the product is packaged is a factor to how long I keep it, like if it's a pump I'm more likely to keep it a big longer as opposed to a tub, for example. But the 'expiration' dates given is a rough guideline.
Powders actually can stay for a very long time, past the expiration dates. As far as bacteria and breakouts, the main cause of that is actually the brushes. If you are diligent with cleaning your brushes, you should be fine with older makeup really :)

I'm just starting out on my makeup journey and so far Urban Decay is the brand that doesn't cause my sensitive skin to react. Sadly most of the beauty videos I've seen don't seem to have people who like the brand beyond the Naked Palettes It's really awesome that you have so many of their products in your collection. Also that you refurbish things to make them your own like I do all the time.
