I do have a feeling though that your model is younger than you thought - I’m pretty sure the swallow livery only appeared in the late 80s - The original livery was more ‘blocky’ - yellow ends and blue and white carriages 😊
@@Tauraco00no, I have never come across it before…. Could be something to do with the word “Wolverh*****n”. We should never utter such atrocities 😂 (football…. I’m from the other side of the Black Country 😉)
Ah yes, the Class 43 / HST. What a wonderful loco / train ... I recall going on one of these from London Paddington To Reading a few weeks after it entered service in the late 1970s when I was a lad. And I also recall treasuring my Hornby HST in its original blue and grey livery which I got at around the same time. I really *must* get one for Pringleton! Thank you for a great video 👍🚂
It’s a sign of getting older that I remember when the ‘Intercity 125’ was the height of progress. Couple of years back the last few were withdrawn from service with Cross Country trains on the line near me, and now I see them on heritage railways. I do like the new lease of life that a few have got with Rail Adventure, and some others have continued their lives abroad 😊

I think so too....could this be 2008 model? haha
Did you know of the Steam Engine named Intercity? Built in 1950?
@@Tauraco00 it looks like that particular set was produced between 1990 and 96 😊
