  • I cycle the route I used to take on the way to school via Goostrey station in the 70's. From 1974 onwards I rode it on a Peugeot racer purchased from Jack Gee cycles in Northwich. I lived on Northwich Road Cranage at the time, and completed the 6 mile round trip every school day.
In this film I take my 1983 Peugeot PH12 Aero racer around the same loop at the age of 62.
I now realise I was quite lucky to have been doing it in Cheshire at the time, which is quite flat!
Accompanied by local period music from 'A Band Called Doris'. For those in the know, I worked with the lead singers(Bob Webb) then partner, Liz Webb at JSB in Holmes Chapel in the late Eighties.
