Hello, I was wondering if you have any suggestions on the best way to find what your coins are worth? I really need money so I want to sell some of my coins, but I'm worried about going to a coin shop and getting ripped off.
Nice!! Can i ask, why is there little extra pieces of metal sticking out of some of the letters on my coin. Like the thorn but instead on my letters and some of the designs
Get it graded professionally and certified, I would highly recommend releasing it to be auctioned directly after you learn its true grade level or decide otherwise to post it on e-Bay or another similar type of high exposure site. Good luck with your sale! That or have it professionally graded and certified then hold it up another year or more Rumours and hearsay from reliable sources have predicted prices to spike even higher over the coming months.
On TH-cam here, punch in CouchCollectibles. The young man has released a video that shows a whole variety of various grades of the 1888 Morgan Silver Dollar. It's a quick watch of first-class,, direct to the point, knowledgable insight that will answer your question plus much, much more.
@@GarciasTrucking between $20-40 usually. The ones that go for much much more are the ones that are in extremely high grade or has a mint error (or both). And those usually have to be authenticated from a reputable grading services (Pcgs or Ngc are the top 2). But it's not cheap to have coins graded so the general rule is.. the coin should have a value of about $150 in said grade determined by the grading company to make the costs of having it graded worth while. Many people sell on Ebay graded or non-graded.. but as mentioned before- graded coins go for more.
I have 1921-D !!

Hi, I have an 1888 slightly worn Morgan Silver Dollar. Would you know roughly its worth?

Yes i do
I have a 1921-S
This is valuable?
Yes but only if it is graded at an MS-67 level or very close to it . Lower grades drop in value tremendously.
How about the 1924 peace dollar in gold
Wish I had a ms 67 1921. Plenty of low 60s 21s tho.
I have one do you know how much is where the question mark or where I can sell it
