Today: 300s speedrun lvl created by Satan himself beats Ryu by demolishing him mentally and physically.
Actually the level is good, in my opinion. Cause the level creator beat it without dev blocks and he actually used some skill put into it.

@Jeff James even Ryu is human...that speedrun is very long, difficult and energy draining. But I know for Ryu it's like a personal challenge between him and that level right now. He just needs some rest then he will finish it for sure in another video, don't worry

Glory. You'll never get the WR with actually using the checkpoint. I actually like the levels set up like that, so you end up pleasing both the hardcore and more casual players.
Make the level beatable but still very challenging and then go for it all in 1 run to compete for the WR
I don't agree with it needing any more indicators than it has, TBQH, but it DEFINITELY needs checkpoints!!!

I randomly got one of their concerts from like ‘97 recommended to me by TH-cam a couple weeks ago and listened to the first couple albums the other day for the first time in years. They’re still good, especially for how young they were at that time.

Also If I had a choice between you attempting the Ferpy level and the 300s speedrun, i'd definitely choose the Ferpy speedrun.

A whole 'nother plane of pain! I loved that. That should have been the title to these tilt monster levels!
That 300 second speedrun level is the perfect example of why checkpoints are so important to a lot of good levels (barring short ones of course). It seems like a lot of the individual challenges are not too unfair on their own, but they become unfair when you have to restart the entire level every time. A lot of them seem like mini speedruns with the P switches and all, so the level wouldn't lose very much by axing the 300 second speedrun part of it, in order to put some checkpoints in there.

That 300-second-speedrun level was one of the most legit things I've ever seen.
Although it had no indications, it sure was un-claustrophobic and diversely maxed-out.

If you think about it, the nice thing about a hard 300 s speedrun level is, that you really don't have to worry about the timer all that much on the first hundred attempts, since it is so unlikely that the timer kills you ;-)
