Brings back memories, but now I find myself amazed at the backgrounds they used. Machu Picchu; a beach with some crumbled down Big Ben clock; those infinite mirrors... love those ideas. They need backgrounds like that again.
I like how Wang's "Spinning Sweep Combo" is used to both start the juggle and continue it at 3:19! Also, Nina and Jun's death combos from 3:57 - 4:07 were very awesome!
man i love this game...it was my firsst tekken and i bought it from a friend...the reason i bought a play station...the game i learned to "read" my enemy :D
@rogal19855 Not really. I think that was one of the game's flaws. I mean, to win, just use a character's most powerful, noncharge-up move, and your opponents health meter is like halfway done
"Proof that Tekken is already a juggle fest from day 1." Proof that you never played Tekken 2 in it's prime. I rarely see people pull these combos, even in tournaments back in the days. And these juggles are harder to pull in this game with clanky controls and combos really need precise timing unlike TTT2 and T6. Pull a simple launcher and you can easily pull at least a simple 5 hit combo. It wasn't until Tekken 3 that I saw people pull juggles regularly.
suiken Yeah juggling from Tekken 1 to Tekken 4 was pretty hard and for the most part impractical. it's wasn't until Tekken 5 when juggling became much easier and very common
To be honest, I don't mind doing juggles, but If I am doing story, they are probably unnecessary because in reality, it's better to battle with an opponent normally, because that's what people do. I mean, why do people do juggles anyway?
Lei Wulong i dont think we could tech roll. they also took out the backwards roll when your facing away from your opponent face up on the ground you could do in tekken 1. only side steps were heihachi and kazuyas (moves that are still part of their arsenal), and everyone could jump super high. still a great game with a legendary soundtrack, story, and characters...
No my friend... tekken 6 was the joke. Look at the creativity this guy has shown with these combos... nowadays its all about just winning and button mashing rather than actual skill... this is a throwback to when the game was at a slower pace, which therefore requires you to plan your attack.
Blocking is instant in Tekken 2 so you must not have a good grasp on the mechanics. There's a lot more to it than using "a character's most powerful, noncharge-up move". Actually that'll lead to more losses than wins.
nah Tekken 4 play system sucks :/ half the time i struggles for jumping and crouching , I had this habit that i always avois the throws just a crouching for an instant and in Tekken 4 the character just side stepped :/ Though i like the wall rebound Moves , Wish they kept them in Tekken 5 and later on
No, the blocking only sometimes works in Tekken 2. I sometimes don't do anything, and my character still doesn't block. I win a lot more at the Tekkens after this one
Yeah, i prefered the old tekken games as to tekken 6. Why? because back in the day, kids werent interested in tekken, therefore there wasnt any button bashing kids to play against, but obviously 11 year kids now-a-days are aloud to play 16-18+ rated games....
***** Sadly, most everyone in the Tekken community says this same shit when it comes to TTT2. I bet half of them don't even realize how balanced that game is compared to this one.
SEnigmaProductions The damage is all jacked up in the PS1 era of Tekken. Characters have about 140 health, and most characters have unblockable moves that KO you in one hit. Tekken Tag Tournament 1 was the same & carried over the elements from the PS1 games as well as add some new elements
tekken 2 combos were nowhere near as common as they are now. harder to do, especially against live opponents. Nowadays in tekken 7, they start a combo on yhou while you laying on the ground and you can't do shit about it lol.
No one did or does these type of combos, this is one of those things 'like hey let me take a long ass time, and figure out and exploit what the creators never meant to be done, if you played tekken 1 - tag1 when they originally came out, then you would never see any type of long combos. Because Tekken wasn't meant to be that, it just mutated into something horrible, and was entirely ruined by Tekken 6 and Tag2;( oh well. even though T5 had some juggling B.S. I would say it is the best Tekken.
Brings back memories, but now I find myself amazed at the backgrounds they used. Machu Picchu; a beach with some crumbled down Big Ben clock; those infinite mirrors... love those ideas. They need backgrounds like that again.
which one is macchu picchu? i love the NY background so much!
Diande Zumada @ 0:41, Wang's stage
It brings back memories to
my god the sound effects/ voices are so good
Ahhh Tekken 2...the era where Paul and Law were taken seriously 😑
I miss it too man
paul can legit take your whole health with just 2 hits, he was broken as hell
2 was the best.. Wish it was online.
I love the noise old school Heihachi made when getting beaten up... OOOOH... OOOOH. It's like a taunt in itself lol.
tekken 2 + tekken 3 = Tekken Tag so that's why i love tekken!
I think you mean tekken 1 + tekken 2 + tekken 3 = tag tournament.
Sorry, I just don't want to see the first tekken game left out...
That feeling when you learn most moves and combos are neutral blockable, and can only be used in juggles
and now im boutta search up all the T2 music themes, as soon as i seen Yoshimitsu's stage the music screamed in my head
I like how Wang's "Spinning Sweep Combo" is used to both start the juggle and continue it at 3:19! Also, Nina and Jun's death combos from 3:57 - 4:07 were very awesome!
5:24 The dark greeting. EPIC MOVE :D
Poor paul... Just 😢 out on evry scene from a scene....
wish they bring all the old voice sounds back, like laws and kings
Nostalgia
And DSP said that Tekken never used to have juggle combos, Thin Name is Bullshit
Everyone says that but the truth is they just didn't now how to do them.
TaliWave anyone knows how to do them, they involve pressing 5 buttons max
TaliWave People say that because you're better off not doing it because they are so short and weak
no the truth is they weren't as bad.
@@cooloutac Juggles were far more broken and easier in the first 2 Tekken games than they were in any sequel lol.
Lol, The Heihachi part is so funny, " Huhouuu Huhouuuuuuu ... "
am i the only one who try to do this noise while looking this video xD?
some of that stuff is extremely creative : O
man i love this game...it was my firsst tekken and i bought it from a friend...the reason i bought a play station...the game i learned to "read" my enemy :D
I feel like there is some hidden aggression against paul here.
The only time you can't block is when you're already attacking or recovering from an attack. Anything besides that the problem is on your end.
Good memories of me playing tekken 2.
amazing shenanigans!

juggling before it was cool
"BAAAYN!! BAAAYN!! DOY! BAAAYN!! DOY! DOY! BAAAYN!!"
Is that a reference to Quan Chi's leg bash fatality in MK4?
how to people find these kind of combos out?
Damn. What do they have against Paul...
Very Nice Video..!! I Like Tekken 2..!!
@rogal19855 Not really. I think that was one of the game's flaws. I mean, to win, just use a character's most powerful, noncharge-up move, and your opponents health meter is like halfway done
man, HOW did you do it??? it's impossible to play with lee angainst wang or with p.jack against kuma unless you play team battle mode or versus mode
Its vs
and why wouldn't they block it?
Tekken 1 and 2 were primes
Paul gettin his ass kicked for 4 straight minutes xd
Tool Assisted. The characters DO NOT move towards you after any hit (making most of these impossible combos). Nice try though
Lol... couldn't agree more. And yet i think Kuma took an even worse beating lol.

really? what about tech roll how old is it in tekken?
@cuuliu Juggle combos?
Awesome!!! Welcome back 538.
Do you mind if put these on Tekken Zaibatsu web theater?? =)
@rogal19855 Some characters have reversals.
@cuuliu juggles are definitely combos. :s
Wonderful video from italian boy live in rome and I m fan of tekken 2
2:36 so siiiick
OUUUUUUUUUH
OUUUUH OUUUUH OUHOUHOOOUUUU Heihachi lol
i never knew that combos are that old in tekken:-) was tech roll possible in Tekken2?

whats the name of the song playing when martial law is there?
Gitonga Mwaniki martial law 😂
Reccomended to me In 2023. Nice

I think you’re just slow. Tekken 7 is all mind games.
Yoshimitsu is the strongest for real😱
NICE!!!!
1991 subscribers! I think you did better than me when I posted a combo vid

Fuck what I wouldn’t give to go back to 3 hit combos... T7 is more time spent juggling then fighting
Paul is my favorite character... -___-
never played tekken 2 in any kinda competive way but shit i didnt think you could juggle this much in it
Heihachi is my fav lol and e sure took a beating
Ya it doesn't. I seriously will just stand there, and my character won't block anything. It's only in Tekken and Tekken 2 though
やっぱりブルース強えww
He probably chose him for his damage grunt, you know the waaauhaaa. Like someone tried to autotune a baby with a deep voice
t2 is hard cuz 1 mistake means 3/4 or full hp down... no parry, no counter, no TR and eaven SS... but GZ for idea :)

the best tekken imo
The arenas of tekken 2 are better than the arenas of tekken 3 but tekken 3 is a better game
.
big baby jesus 1:00
i fill sorry to paul lols
And Tekken 2 is pretty slow, so it never has good reaction time when it comes to blocking and moving
I’m pretty sure on the opening part of the video it said TAS... so technically these aren’t real even though it is impressive
***** Dem combos.

Best combos ever! but not good enough
good times when there haven't bound and rage system,it was just skillz...
It takes less skill to play Tekken 2 than it does to play any Tekken game afterwards. Don't be blinded by nostalgia bro lol.
Lel, nice
poor pual
nah Tekken 3 is best
in terms of balance. story and music for t2 were better and character selection. the retcons ruined ogre...He killed nobody now.
Using Paul as a practice dummy...smh
poe pual smh........lol

You are clearly blinded by nostalgia lol. Tekken 2 combos were much easier (less execution) and far more common in matches than in any later game.
@@lukejones7164 nope.
@@cooloutac Its a fact bro, take off your nostalgia goggles lol.
@@lukejones7164 but it isn't. Were you even old enough to play back then? lol I doubt it.
