For those confused about the alarm, he explains it at 8:41. He's most likely talking about a "water level change" alarm that typically goes off when a dam starts releasing water. This means the river will fill very quickly with water, which can be extremely dangerous to those downstream.
Yeah, some people who DID'NT know got caught in that; glad they have someone listening for it. Don't know how long it will take him to get out, or for the risen water level to reach him.

I live in Westport Washington. I've always wanted to get some scuba gear and dive the docks here. Be interesting to see what's in the water. The thing is the water is cold. I have no idea about wetsuits. I know a little about the breathing equipment. I figure it's probably about the same as when I was a firefighter and the equipment we used. I'm not a 100 percent sure. Just my guess. What online store would you recommend ordering equipment from? What thickness is recommended for the Pacific ocean. 7mm? Is that a good thickness?
Save the cellphones and take them apart later. Gold and silver can be salvaged out of cellphones. Melt the pieces down when you have enough for a nice little gold bar.

That yellow book you found is a geologic field notebook. You use them in the field to take notes. Other professions use them too. They always have a section either in the front or back of the book for return to owner info. If you ever find another one, usually the owner always has their info in it. Also another thing Is a lot of times those books has sensitive notes in it that's confidential to the company the person is taking notes for. Usually it can't be shown on video.

Absolutely. It’s sad that people just keep dumping trash in the river. I understand people losing things from the rafts and fishermen losing lures but the cans needs to stop. And it’s a college town. I thought young people cared about the environment. Jake does. Hopefully more and more people will start to understand.
