Harmony Montessori School 2 at Lower Parel designed by Atelier ARBO 1080p

With the aim of inculcating the educational philosophies of Dr. Maria Montessori in the interior planning approach, Atelier ARBO explored a minimal yet comforting design for Harmony Montessori School located at Lower Parel, Mumbai, India.
An open plan with three spacious classrooms converging into a large common learning space welcomes students inside a naturally lit area having fragrant indoor plants, and soft, light interiors beautifully complementing the Ash wood furniture. Large windows portray lush outdoors while children explore and independently choose the different learning materials arranged on shelves having child-friendly height.
A thoughtful design approach was implemented to ensure the concentrated and collaborative learning of the students in a positive and welcoming environment.
