A home is needed first. Depression falls away a bit and one feels more empowered to do good for themselves. After ones head has recovered a little introducing a job is perfect. A place to rest, A place to eat, a place to defeat the trauma. I was here, and now doing ok..I would like to help others, I don't know how...Most homeless people are the kindest of souls...Damn, I wish there was something i could do. :(
So is giving free housing to people the answer ? You probably still don’t have a job and you're sitting in a free hotel given to you . I don’t even know you and I know the deal . I’m from Victoria and know deal . Get off Meth and things will fall into place .
Depression depression means you need to de press... Which means you need a deep rest from the person whom you never were... There's lots of people that are drug addicts that can keep the roof over their head if you choose $200 worth of drugs a day over roof over your head then you deserve to be on the streets...
I hear a lot of people going on about what happened to them and what other people are doing to them but I don't hear any solutions on what they're going to do.... I've been homeless and I pulled myself out. Life is all about choices and putting somebody with a mental issues into a house isn't going to fix anything

It's basically the same situation except that in Canada it's much colder.
