As someone who also did a ranking run in the final hours (same with my friend) while we watched this live, the Code 3 shit wasn't exaggerated at all, the servers absolutely shit themselves at the end and you were lucky to get a single action in for more than an hour. I would have been disappointed if the video didn't have that shown, we were actually trying a proper run but didn't have enough time to finish our last turns with all the disconnects.
Also something this video didn't make clear, Fury started his ranking stream with hours remaining, by needing to actually finish PL... He was only on chapter 2 and had to speedrun the event, which had it's own level of FuryBrain on display.

That's because I'm running it on an emulator, with a PC that has somewhat overkill specs.
Honestly I'm just happy getting the Equipment and Fairy. I literally pepeged every other ranking map by not giving myself enough time so getting above 50% feels like breaking a curse on myself. I could've went for the hat, I have the tools, but I'm more happy about not fucking up than sad about losing the hat.

I think that code:3 this maybe related to when did you start the run. You see, I start my 3rd ranking attempt 12 hours before the maintenance and I end it 10 minutes before the maintenance (yes~ you read it correctly, my attempt last 11+ hours because I split it into 2 session so I can sleep for 3 ~ 4 hours before continue).
In the end, I get 0 code:3 and surprised how many people got that hell after I see some reply in GFL EN twitter post.
As for my ranking attempt, I'm on 21% with 578.603 score (premature end at turn 6).
I dunno. The servers were taking a shit that's for sure

My PL experience:
my mouse has a problem with the left click where sometimes it register a single click as a double click.
Went for a 800K+ run, had to restart once, after an hour and a half i'm at the final turn....and my mouse decide that i double click so it ends the round before i could move all my echelons.
Got "only" 760K which put me at 11% and i decided that it wasn't worth to start again just for an extra fairy and a hat.
Done that in Shattered Conexion, I know the feeling. There is an option in yhe settings to ask for confirmation before turns ends. Highly recommended to activate it when doing ranking.

To my surprise, a previous 316k score on a scout attempt brought me to 41% lol

I did have a few fuckup moments too. Did you by chance do it on EX or normal?
EN saw big number deathstacks and said screw that. And because of that, killing a couple without beans meant that you scored pretty high. I malded for nine hours for a score of 1.04M. Was it worth it? No, but I'm proudly wearing that damned fish hat ever since.

I only have 2 5* fairies: Beach and Prototype. 3 4* fairies: Warrior, Artillery and Command. Para is only 2*. Still comfy at top 100. It's more strategy tbh, the only 5* you needed this event was Beach
