Thank you. Published on the day I was printing the final parts for the electo-acoustic version of your fantastic and well thought out design- I received the electronics via EBay a day or so ago. A well presented video made more impressive by the magic hands presenting each part to you at exactly the right time.

I am also huge fan of those magic hands. They can be very helpful :)

I have mine printing right now! I'm really thankful that you made this video. I did notice that the support strips weren't there on Printables, so I'm going to try the ones for your heart ukulele (which I need to print too!). I'm so excited to try this!
There is nothing more amazing that removing the barriers to entry for music!

Are not gonna talk about using wintergarten for the music! Excellent taste.

This is such an amazing design in both function and style. I love it. I have already watched videos where you play the original Ukulele you made, but I was looking forward to hearing this one amplified at the end of the video for a bit of a song. Thanks for sharing the files and making this available to other people.

Thanks for good words. At the beginning I planned to record some music as a background track of this video - but i wasn't happy with the result and many people asked about assembly of the electroacoustic version, so I decided to add Wintergatan music to the background and release it as soon as possible. For sure I will upload the video with a sound sample in the future. There is already a small exmple of distorted sound (via zoom bass multi effect) on this short video: th-cam.com/users/shortsO27hezNb9x0

Print as many as you wish :). If you want to have more of them - consider one with Low G string - this sounds great on my heart shaped ukulele and i think it can sound nice od this one too.

Amazing! Saw this on printables and came straight here. Checked out your two vids but is there anywhere I can hear how this sounds without an amp? I understand it's intended for electric-acoustic playing but I am curious as to the limits of the acoustics of these sick plastic instruments.

it's almost as loud as the wooden soprano ukulele. Check me playing Stand By Me video - all three instruments are 3d printed and all three are recorded with microphone without any editing (just adjusting balance for some sort of stereo effect). th-cam.com/video/wQ_X2H8o2V4/w-d-xo.html.

I already print a normal one. I saw the late electric ukelele 😢.

So print the second one - it's not so hard - especially if you have successfully printed first one Also try low G string for the second ukulele if you haven't already. And if You don't want to spend too much money - you can just buy piezo pickup without preamp/tuner, print the bridge with slot for the pickup, drill two holes in your body one for the pickup cable and the second one for output jack (you have to buy this too). And with a bit of work and soldering you can convert your ukulele into electroacoustic one.

@@TomekUoo Yes i think printing second one. I already gave my nephew the first ukelele. I love this ukelele, Thanks for sharing files 👌. I use 0.6 nozzle for the first print but secondly i think 0.4 nozzle.
