- Shelbourne manager Damien Duff reflects on a point at home, talks about the emotion of a Dublin Derby and looks ahead to another massive game next week versus Dundalk with, Darren Cleary.
The reality is Shels are not creating chances. The goal was really well taken but came from a mistake. Same old story, look comfortable for long periods but not creating chances. No threat in behind, ball not sticking up top, too slow to get the ball in the box. Individuals need to stand up. Moylan dragged us up the table last season. Wood and Jarvis gave us a massive boost as well. Jarvis has been a big loss, wouldn't underestimate boyds absence either. The league is there to be won. Wood, O'brien, Boyd, Tulloch, Coote all capable of being match winners. But they need to show it.
I feel we need a striker coach. Duffers midfield and Obrien defender. ⚽️ is what wins games
Extra time v Galway didn’t help one bit.

Need a week of team bonding duffers & tactical screen work only (and not drinking) just get the balls out Thursday…some Gokarting or something to take some physical strain off the lads.
No going to win a league not have multiple goal scorers in squad. Creativity is poor.
