I’m sure this is a good idea but I can never figure out what I’m supposed to do from your videos. Always sounds smart but I never have enough direction to put it into action

I lost the ability to sit, i even ask myself why i always have back pain when i sit, even when i sit upright n good posture. After strengthening glutes, hamstring, lower back n quads, i didnt have that problem now. Yeah sometimes we sit too much and our muscle like deactivated, and the pressure goes to our spine.
His exercises helped me with my piriformis syndrome. The best exercise for me is the one he stands in front of a box and does a squat with the affected leg. Thank you.
it just killed my left side core instability! Conor you're legend! I finally felt opposite side groin relief and my body gave such a big feedback with a muscles saying "gosh I can take a day off finally this dude(core) doing his job". Unluckily for me fizioterapists been treating the symptoms of stiff neck and groin while root cause been there for years. Thanks doc!
Stretch and strengthen is the way. Also, I just recently learned that doing the splits can help get rid of anterior pelvic tilt. I learned about this after watching this one woman’s journey of accomplishing the splits. It took her a month. She said not only did her pelvis shift, but when she went for a run after accomplishing the full split her hips felt so free, like she’d never felt before. That has inspired me to start working on being able to do it myself. It’s been almost a week so far, and I actually felt different after just a day… I can only imagine what it’ll be like when I’ve actually done it. I’m speaking of the front split, not the side split btw. However, I’m trying for both, ‘cause why not lol 😂
Sounds great, but what if you're 80 and this just happened and you can't get on the floor or in a position as you just demonstrated to make this happen?
Looks like you need an extra prop to get a 90° angle of hip to floor to make this work. I tried it without it and can see how I need to do this regularly. Tight on the right, weak on the left. Thanks!
Serious practitioner question: how do you keep your patients accountable to do the work? For most, stretching is "more relieving" because it can give instant gratification, and it's easier because it's passive. Even though we both know there is relief with these exercises, how do you translate these teachings into others practicing it? Is that partly why you started this channel? To cast a wider net and capture those inspired to do the work?
I tried that. It makes the pain extreme and feels like my legs fall off and take my lower back with them. Knees higher is comfortable, but takes me a few minutes to straighten after sitting for 30 minutes. Fortunately I dont have to sit at work. There is no winning for me there...😅
That’s why training Chinese martial arts is so instructive and effective at flexibility for the body… the complex forms and stances/kicks teach you how to manipulate and open up the muscles so you can get strong and finish the full range of motion.
I thought you technically cant even lengthen your muscles by stretching and that its more about relaxing and training your nervous system that range is safe
I need to do this. I've been told I need to strengthen my glutes to do this and it will also help my fallen arches a bit too. Is this true? What other exercises can help fallen arches and pelvic tilt (my knees seem to almost hyper extend because of it)
Also, do a slow motion kick with yoyr strong foot, and analyze where you place your weight, and how the body rotates (lower body, mid body, upper body). If it feel awkward kicking with the weak foot, it is highly likely you are actually rotating the wrong direction with one part of your body. Also you may be placing your bodyweight in the wrong places. This instantly improved my dribling with the weak foot.
I agree with a comment here under this video. You sound smart often and invent new exercises, but to be honest, just the basic stretching of these muscles, fascia, ligaments, strenghtening and massaging is enough to fix all these problems. You always make it way to complicated and try to stick out from the rest. Simple is always best and no need to make a big science out of it.
Your instructions are really bad bro, I can tell you know these things but I cannot understand any of your videos. And this is coming from a guy who has been following biomechanic gurus for years

@SquatUniversity is really helpful in giving you practical advice, examples, and routines
Also Tom Morrison has a solid routine for fixing anterior pelvic tilt

Yes! This is the one that fixed me. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@conorharris I'm curious why on this you suggest one foot up and one down instead of both feet up in the 90-90 position?
No expert, but after seeing my osteopath, she tells me to do bridges.

I like how you say EXACTLY what to do even down to the breathing. Especially the breathing.

This is what I've learned after decades of muscular imbalance:

Should you alternate which leg on the wall? Does it matter? This is quite hard

I cant figure out what anterior pelvic tilt is? The top part is tilted forward or the bottom part is tilted forward?
My hips are so painful, I cannot even cross them to do that exercise.

Too much talking not enough showing.
Woukd normal glute raises work as well?
I've been sitting on a inclined seat which has helped. The knees must be below the hips.

Those muscles are stretched AND overactive for me and it just creates swayback. Streching it doesn't fix the posture.
Do you have the link to rhe research on that? Preciate you my man
Idk I do yoga poses for 20 minutes per day and my flexibility has skyrocketed

Do you push into both feet equally or %80/20.
I just have left side pain, which leg do I need in what position.
You want to stretch and strengthen right after very useful tip
What if you try this and get a Charlie horse in the back of your thigh?

Do we hold as a static exercise if so how long? If not how many sets reps
Yay my algorithm knows about my back and that stretching has made it worse. Will try this, thank you.
Can i do long stride walking instead?
Yeah the stretching only last a few minutes for me like you said definitely can’t wait to try this
