@T Green How can you say “just be healthy” and “don’t worry too much about the weight” also? You can’t have both. Gilbert is dangerously overweight and seems awfully frail (lack of muscle). He needs a radical diet change (no sugar and very low carb) and a consistent exercise program. Good luck to you, Gilbert. Your positive attitude will take you far.

I'm 5'4" and 125 pounds. Also 61 years old. My posture declined when I hit menopause. My last neck adjustment was 20 years ago from a DC who muscled his way through it. At the time, I weighed only 100 pounds. I had such pain after that adjustment that I never got another. I was no stranger to adjustments, my step daughter was a DC. Not all DCs are good. I'm now trying to get my posture improved with stretching and physical therapy. Started a few days ago. Dang my neck hurts.
My physical therapist says it’s our body’s way to get the nutrients to our brain cause our necks are super stretched forward with the habitual patterns of slouching and looking down at phones and etc.. out body develops fluids and nutrients to protect that vulnerable area. It’s why I clicked this video cause I wanted to see if this would help that. Depends on the persons health conditions too. Everyone is different but most people are developing this especially kids.
Omg. My chiropractor is not this rough and does things a bit different, not as harmful. It must be a lot more expensive out that way. First appointments here are 175$ in Va. I'm so thankful to my chiropractor. I live in pain daily, trying to avoid surgery too.
I've been too good and bad chiropractors. I went to one after a car accident. It started off pretty good but then he passed me over to his associates. One of them was a very short very stout woman who wasn't tall enough so basically she was climbing up on me and instead of fixing my neck hurt my back. I told the owner of the Chiropractic practice that he was the only one to work from then on and he got rather huffy so I informed my insurance company about what happened and they sent me to another chiropractor to check my back out and haven't been to one since.
@@TheReal2GsTV Cool Keep that head up high and push back over your shoulders like he says. Make sure you're sleeping with your back and neck straight and possibly however else he said to sleep. Also look up the local parks in your area a good long walk every other day will loosen up all your joints and make you feel better. hour + walk.
Gilbert Garcia you need to fix your diet homie no disrespect. I was over weight and had many back and neck issues losing the weight helps drastically. Take small steps and you will get to where you want to be brother don’t give up god bless you
I know he probably means well, but I would never go to a doctor that made comments like he did: "This is how I get my old man strength is adjusting big guys like you." "You're really testing the limits of my table here, Gilbert." "You got some tree trunks for legs." I joke about my weight sometimes but I wouldn't want a doctor that I just met doing it.
I understand where your coming from I honestly do but I do got some tough skin I been called fat etc etc most of my life it used to hurt me back then when I didn’t have a strong mentality but over the years I don’t let it get too me I just have a positive mind about it and I just thank em kindly for there comment and move on because at the end of the day when are time is up from this earth and those who judge keep on judging won’t ever receive there eternal life with Jesus if they don’t change there ways
Big doesn’t mean overweight; you don’t need to be overweight to test the limits of his table example: a NFL lineman or strongman they can weight north of 300lbs. And tree trunk legs would be a great compliment to hear in the gym (chicken legs would be more insulting to most people).
This video literally saved my cervical spine. I had a blown C5-C6 disc, and for 27 months, I still lived with pain and terrible paresthesia. I had been to two separate physical therapists. Very little helped. The ortho wanted me to get injections, but I opted not to since they were palliative and not curative. I was looking for a cure. Finally, around 27 months, I decided I had had enough. I started watching videos about disc replacement, mentally preparing myself for surgery. And then I watched THIS video one night (I would watch TH-cam videos every night hoping for something to help--including every Bob and Brad video relating to the neck). At around the 10 minute mark, he gives this guy a stretch to take home and perform. 3 sets per day, 15 per set. I did that stretch for 2 days. And damn it, I was cured. No more pain and no more tingling. I think maybe his stretch created a lot of negative pressure in the disc, which sucked the herniation back inside, allowing my nerve root proper clearance. 27 months of misery cured in 2 days. I don't know anything about how these other patients turned out. I only know he saved me from neck surgery, and I've been thinking about coming by his office to shake his hand or give him a hug or something. The last two years have been utter hell.
I have 7 herniated discs in my lumbar and thorax and had sciatica down both my legs and numbness in my toes. Was told I needed surgery. Had one session of hijama and my sciatica left for 3 years, had it again and the sciatica went away again. As for my discs I was getting cortisol shots which led to me developing stenosis along with the scoliosis I already had. Been having hijama for 4 years and left sugar and barely need pain killers on a day to day like I used to.
So incredibly helpful - I just subscribed (in NW FL) I am just starting to notice a DH from my excessive keyboard/sedentary habits. Thanks so much!!! Good luck Gilbert!!!

Dr Johnson: And what's your name?
Gilbert: Yes, sir.
Thanks so much for showing this! So helpful to see what goes on in office to help treat this type of thing. Thinking of the chiro is always a scary thought to me, it's the great unknown! haha.
Also, gotta say, I love that the doc prays for his patients at the start of the day. Now THAT'S the kind of doctor I want on my side!
You do know you have to believe in science to be a Doctor...right?
He has a beautiful spirit about him.
Watching this with a sore back thinking damn he’s lucky wish I was getting adjusted 🥴😩😩😩😩
Find a local office. They always have deals going. And especially when you are a new patient.
i appreci8 every part of this video. very helpful, informative and fun to watch. Thank you Dr. Gregory and Gilbert

@@TheReal2GsTV God bless you too man
My head is so far forward...Ive been to several chriropractors but with no results...its very depressing...I wanna be around for my grandchildren...I wish I had someone who could help me here in California...without making me go broke...im so glad u help that man...maybe I should move to texas...thank you for posting that video..
My family had this even being thinner those saying it's all weight related not true
All had a forward lean to us
I have that problem and my weight is average
Genetic is definitely a factor
I'm 5'4" and 125 pounds. Also 61 years old. My posture declined when I hit menopause. My last neck adjustment was 20 years ago from a DC who muscled his way through it. At the time, I weighed only 100 pounds. I had such pain after that adjustment that I never got another. I was no stranger to adjustments, my step daughter was a DC. Not all DCs are good. I'm now trying to get my posture improved with stretching and physical therapy. Started a few days ago. Dang my neck hurts.
That’s stress and anxiety pulling on the front nerves of your neck causing it to be forward.
He like, “your head forward so lean head backwards and you will be better” lmao
what a nice guy.. Hope hes feeling better..
Gilbert is such a gentle man
Thanks for your comment God bless
I want to see his evolution doctor Gregory 👍🏻
Love how he was so knowledgeable.
I hope Gilbert feels better!🌻
Thank You so much means a lot
@@TheReal2GsTV Hope doc was able to help you with the proper posture.
@@D4x4Bronc He got me feeling amazing I’ll be back in September he wants to straighten me up better so I’ll see y’all soon
Take small steps and you will get to where you want to be brother don’t give up god bless you
He has such a contagious smile
I know he probably means well, but I would never go to a doctor that made comments like he did:
"This is how I get my old man strength is adjusting big guys like you."
"You're really testing the limits of my table here, Gilbert."
"You got some tree trunks for legs."
I joke about my weight sometimes but I wouldn't want a doctor that I just met doing it.
Also I respect doc in all he does it was all jokes even off camera he told me I hope I didn’t take him seriously
Hello Doc Johnson, love what you do
My neck and forward head posture have been terrible since I started using a phone especially to watch movies...I'm always looking down
I have 7 herniated discs in my lumbar and thorax and had sciatica down both my legs and numbness in my toes.
He is the first generation that grew up texting. This is why his head is forward.
Nah man I never had a phone growing up in In high school my family was too poor to afford it I got the dowagers hump from just bad posture sitting
I got faith in Gilbert, you got this bud 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Haha
Gilbert you're a very lucky and smart man.
I had spine problems that the pain would even come thru the chest
Talk about humdinger that stuff will scare you to stand straight lol
@Randy Candelario have you considered this Dr or similar procedure? Hope u feel better
Gilbert is always positive and smiling, be like gilbert
Thank You God bless you
