New ships, that now serve B.C.'s North Coast have huge shoes to fill with the retirement of the 'steady-eddy' of the fleet, lovingly referred to as The Rupert. Hundreds of staff who became proud crew members of the QPR provided dependable service for residents of the local communities she served, but also offered a memorable sea going voyage for millions of tourists for 46years! A solid, proud ship, now retired. We salute you! Godspeed to you, QPR A Proud Ship, now retired. Godspeed!
she was an old ship, but very classy. I could see rust on her old coat of paint. the queen of the north wasnt much younger, RIP queen of the north 1969-2006.
Horn that sounds like the Coastal Class is the North Expedition (Sonia, Far Left), Fog Horn/Moo is Northern Adventure (Center), Loud Kinda Air Horn is Prince Rupert (Far Right)
Sniff Sniff, There is one ship missing, God bless the Queen of the North. Sniff Sniff.
If she hadn’t sank, she would’ve been there.

It’s sad how the queen of the north couldn’t be there but instead at the bottom of the ocean
Wow, these three would have worked well in a later year. The Chord at the end was empowering. Good Job!
The Northern Adventure's horn sounds like a foghorn
sounds just like the spirit of vancouver island.
I think it’s the same one used on the spirit class vessels
Sounds like one of QPR's horns is silent. She has a three tone horn, but only her (very out of tune!) KM165 and KM200 are audible in this video.
Northern expedition sounds like coastal celebration and northern adventure sounds like spirit of British Columbia
Yasser sana sure does
maybe they were built by the same people?
