Very helpful video - wish I would have seen this a year ago when I started out, would have saved me some frustration time lol -- but I have to ask and hope you will share -- where did you get the mixing bowls (are those 6 oz bowls) and those spoons??
So happy it helped you! Haha, you’re going to laugh at this, but those are toddler bowls and spoons. 😂 When my kiddos grew out of them, I sanitized them and now use them as mixing bowls sometimes, lol! I think they are the Munchkin brand. I’m not certain they still make them, but they have been wonderful baking buddies, lol! If that brand isn’t still out, I’m sure there is something very similar down your local store’s baby aisle! 😊
Hi! I so struggled with amounts of icing in the beginning, too, lol, and I still do! There are so many factors that go into deciding how much to make (size of cookies, size of order, each design, etc). I usually just make an educated guesstimate, ha. Most often, you’ll need the most of flood and the least of stiff. However, I always keep my leftover icing in a tub in my fridge. I recycle it to make different shades for upcoming orders, or use it for sample cookies around holiday/flash sales. The icing can last awhile and can even go in your freezer. I’ve even seen someone throw in every extra color together to make black icing! It was amazing, haha! I sure hope something here was somewhat helpful, lol!
perfectly explained tutorial on consistencies!!! thanks a lot
Glad it was helpful!

@@homegirlcookies8888 Oh yes I do know that brand :) and thank you so much for letting me know.
Nice! Thank you! How do you get rid of air bubbles?
Love it
Thank you
Any hints on how much of each consistency to make? Did your idea (thank you!!) but found I mostly used flood and had so much leftover. TIA!
