I loved your review! How do these compare to the traditional Lansinoh pumps you had? I don't necessarily need it to be wearable, but it might be a perk. Do you find them comparable in ease of use and milk output? I feel like traditional pumps pump more. If you had to have just one which would you pick? Thank you!!
I love my Lansinoh 2.0! I can get the same amount with the wearables - I just have to pump a little longer ❤️. I’d recommend having both a traditional pump and a wearable because some women say wearables have less output. I haven’t had that but if you do have that problem and only have wearables you could get a supply hit
I ordered this pump prior to finding your review and I just used it for the first time. It was a bit tricky to understand the modes, but that’s because I didn’t read that part of the manual first… I got excited 😅. I used the portable battery/plug in Lansinoh my last baby and this time I wanted more mobility so I was happy to find they had a wearable. So far I think I’ll be very pleased. My only dislike is that you can’t see your nipple inside so you are kinda guessing if it is placed properly.
Hello! Great review! I am having a hard time deciding between trying this one out or use what I used for my 2nd baby which was the Elvie Stride. With the Elvie Stride, I was able to pump 4-5oz per breast, which for me was great! I am wondering in your opinion, if you think this new pump would provide the same or more output? Also, wondering if you compare the ease of washing parts/assembly which do you think is better? Lastly, comfortability wise do you have a preference? I did not mind the tubes with the Elvie Stride but could get in the way at times especially now with two other kids under 3 plus baby #3. I am a 34DD pre pregnancy with my 3rd baby. Thank you so much!
I think output would be similar. Takes me about the same amount to clean too. Only thing is the stride only has one motor to have to adjust and will sit a little lighter in your bra. This one doesn’t have tubes though so just depends what’s important to you!
Hi, first if all, thank you for your videos they are so incredibly helpful. I have a few questions! 1. Would you mind sharing what the Lasinoh Discreet came with? Was it just the pump and charging cord in the box or did it come with a carrying bag, brush, anythinbg extra? 2. Does the Mom ozy s12pro stand up the way the Lasinoh Discreet does? Or is there anything wearable pump that also stands up similar to this one? Thanks again!
I'm looking for my first breast pump and considering getting this wearable one! I was wondering though how soon do you have to replace the parts for this pump?
How does this wearable compare to the others you've tried? You mentioned what you liked about it but not what you didn't like. I am trying to decide on a wearable right now for my second pump. Currently have a Spectra S1 as my main. Thanks!
I have tried a lot an honestly I like a lot of them and a lot of them work nicely. I'd say drawbacks to this one is that insert is kinda hard to get in there because of the raised edging and it's auto shut off is after only 20 min which may be a little quick for some (I forgot to mention that in my vid)
hi! really enjoyed your review. couple questions… i’ve used mine a handful of times since it came with insurance. however, it seems to be a little painful at times, i was sized at a 21mm. i’ve had to do lower settings and readjust so many times- would you go down a flange size? how would you compare this to the momcozy s9 pro? my MIL got me that one as well. i was also looking at the medela handfree one with the app… which is your preference? and most importantly- would you clean this every day or just fridge? i’ve been so busy with my newborn and don’t really want to switch between so many pumps/keep track of different parts. i’ve been using mine to pump every 2-3 hours to help build a supply. thank you!
If it's painful I would try going down an insert size and see if that does the trick. I do like having the app on M9, it's nice to adjust it on there and not stick my hand down my shirt, but besides that the pumps are pretty comparable. I usually do the fridge hack between pumps and then always wash once at the end of the day.
I have this pump and I find that the milk gets stuck at the suction and doesn’t always drip down into the cup. It’s frustrating after 20 minutes of pumping and not seeing all the milk I would have normally collected
When compared with the Momcozy wearables, do you like this one better? Trying to decide which will be best when I go back to work. I’m an attorney so I’ll mostly pump in my office but I might have to pump traveling to court sometimes so thinking a wearable will be easier than my motif duo where I basically have to undress and switch bras to use.
This one is super similar to the Momcozy M5 but it does hold more milk wich can be super important if you're having a heavy flow day ha. I think it would work well for office pumps and car pumps!
Massage will get you your letdown and then expression is for the remainder of your pump! Automatic will keep increasing strength on it own - I’m not a big fan of that mode. I’d recommend 2 min on massage then the rest of your pump on expression
I’d do this one or the Zomee fit because I like to do the fridge hack and the Willow Go isn’t good for that. The Lansinoh and Zomees don’t have apps though so it’d just depend if you would miss that.
Trying to decide on a wearable pump that is reasonably priced- thinking of either this or one of the momcozies (probably the s12 pro) Which one has more drawbacks? Is this one dishwasher safe? Thank you for all your helpful reviews!
This one is very similar to the Momcozy M5. I personally love my S12 pros because they can hold so much milk and they’re so easy to do the fridge hacks with. This one holds a lot too though and you can do the fridge hack with it. It is also quieter and better if you’re trying to be discrete
Thank you for your videos! I’ve been using the Lansinoh wall pump, which works decently, but it doesn’t fully empty my right side, so I often have to hand express, adding about 20-30 ml. As I am returing to work and need to be more mobile, I’m considering a wearable or portable pump and would like your advice on whether to choose the Discreet Duo or the Lansinoh 3.0 portable. I have two main concerns: 1. How can I check if milk is coming out while using the pump? 2. Will I still need to hand express at the end of the session? Thanks!
I’m so like both pumps! Some women don’t respond quite as well to wearables and you won’t really know until you try. I do always pump an extra couple minutes with my wearables and usually end up with my normal amount. When the mobile one is going you can hear liquid entering the containers and kinda look down and see what’s going on
My insurance is covering the Lansinoh Discreet Duo and the Momcozy S12 Pro and I'm really torn between the two. I've watched both of your reviews and cant decide, which one would you prefer?
Both are good pumps! The Lansinoh is very high quality and I think you prob have to replace parts less with it. The Momcozy S 12 pro is a bit stronger and can hold a little more milk
I don’t know if I would have a wearable if you’re only going to have one. I love wearables but some women produce less with them - if you’re only going to have one I’d probably do a traditional pump
I love lasinoh breast pumps I’ve used that brand exclusively with my 3 kids. Used electrical and manual pumps and I loved them all. I really want to try this one but I’m debating between this one or one of the momcozy breast pumps.. should I stick to what I’m familiar with?😣😅
Thanks for the review! I have a question I’ve never used a wearable pump will it stop in its own when it’s full or do I have to watch it to not spill over?
Trying to decide between this or the baby Buddha 2.0 for pumping at work. Do you think this empties into bags well? I produce milk well, getting 6-8 oz total from wall pump and I have a 11 week old.
I haven't tried the Baby Buddha into bags but I think you'll probably need a traditional pump like that vs one of these wearables since you produce so much. I have pumped into bags quite a bit with the Lansinoh and I liked that one a lot.
Im very conflicted on this or the Elvie Stride. I had the Medela Pump In Style for my first and loved that pump, but am really needing a hands free option for this time. The top things that are important to me are output obviously, quietness, and discreetness in the bra. I’m also a person who really values reliability in the sense of warranties/companies backing their products and not having to stress over being without a pump because of a malfunction or something. Which, between this Lansinoh Discreet and the Elvie Stride would you recommend?
Ah I like both - I’d go Elvie stride if your bigger than a DD just because bigger chested mamas seem to be more comfortable in the cups without the motors attached. I’d do Lansinoh if you want to do a lot of car pumps - the tubes somehow make that harder
I’m about a C, so definitely not larger chested and I did do a lot of car pumps the first time so that makes sense! Would you say they both give the same amount of output and that they are both quiet and relatively similar in size of the cups?
@@MadisonLoethen I was also wondering if you had any issues with leaking from either of the 2, or of milk getting caught in the nooks and crannies of the Elvie Stride. I’ve heard that was an issue for some
@@KaitlynBlankenship-h7v I haven't really had that issue! If milk does it in the double seal while taking a part the parts or pouring out milk - it wipes or rises quick.
@@MadisonLoethengreat, thank you! Lastly, do you mind just answering my above questions about the comparison in milk output, noise, and size? I’m sorry, I’m new to commenting on TH-cam so I forgot to tag you in that one!
Can you make a video or comment on how to charge them and what does the extra bra strap do? How do you use that as well if you can make a video explaining that in the video or just the comments that be amazing. I’m looking at the directions that I got, and it’s still kind of confusing me.
The chargers are just USB chargers! I actually never use bra extenders - I just loosen my nursing bra a little if needed. If you want to use them you just hook them to your nursing bra hooks.
I think that’s the one that starts at 1 and then automatically increases your suction until you stop it going up. That mode isn’t my favorite personally.
How do you feel the Discreet Duo compares with other wearable pumps as far as being able to change position goes? I'd like to be able to use a wearable pump during activities like bicycling (where I'm leaned fairly far forward), and jogging (where it'll be jostled around), and I'm wondering if I would be better served with a different pump for those use cases.
I don't know of any wearable pump where you can bike or jog in except maybe the Willow 3.0 (even with this one it can be tricky because it can be prone to error messages). All of the others you really need to stay somewhat upright in. You can walk around and use your hands, but not really do athletic activity in.
You’re being unrealistic if you think you’re going to go biking while pumping. Plus you’re only going to have about 10-15 minutes with the pump on. It’s not like you’ll be wearing it for an hour.
Is it coming out the nipple hole or the bottom of the flange? If it’s coming out the nipple hole leaning forward when taking it off and wearing a snug sports bra with it can help.
Do you find this wearable pump to be better than the momcozy ones? I'm trying to decide with one to get as I was be having to pump when I have to travel for work after my leave. It's all just a bit overwhelming to try and decide
I am in between this one and the Mom Cozy M5, I'm curious if you'd recommend one over the other and if so for what reasons? Please and thank you. I'm having a really hard time choosing.
I'm trying to decide whether I want the Elvie Stride or Lansinoh Discreet Duo. Which would you say is better for on the go and discreetness in terms of suction and overall quality and product?
What would you recommend The Lansinoh Discreet wearable pump or the Spectra S2 plus wall pump? I’m trying to decide which one would benefit more starting out pumping for the first time! Don’t know which route to go. Just want it to be successful this time around. Thank you for any help. ❤️
I really like having both a wearable pump and a traditional pump. Wearables are amazing, but some women produce less with them - which can cause problems if that's your only pump or you exclusively pump with them.
Okay thank you so much. I will definitely look for a wall one I have already ordered Lansinoh discreet. Just so I can have both. Just in case. Thank you so much for your help and advice. 🥰❤️
Do you think this one or the Elvie stride has better suction? Both are free with my insurance. I’ve tried willow go with my last pregnancy and wasn’t able to empty completely compared to my spectra despite pumping for 30 min.
I have the other Lansinoh wearable pump. I am considering getting this one since the name suggests it’s smaller. Is it lighter, smaller, less cumbersome than the other Lansinoh wearable?
I actually haven't tried the Tomee yet but I would go with this one based of the reports I've heard of the Tomee suction being too strong and causing nipple damage
is this stronger or weaker than the momcozy m5? i have an m5 rn and HATE it cause it does an awful job of emptying me the way my wall prison pump did and the way some off brand pumps i have did. only bought the m5 cause my off brand wearables had one of the motors die.
I’m looking for a hands free breast pump where it’s discreet, fits in my bra, & is cordless. More than likely I will pump mostly at home but I probably will need to take it outside as well. I would say I’m an overproducer & my breasts are on the larger side (DDD). I was looking at the Lansinoh Discreet Duo, Willow Go, Willow Go 3.0, & I also heard the Mom Cozy Brands is great. Which one would you recommend? I just can’t decide lol.
Of those three the Lansinoh Duo is the easiest to do the fridge hack with if that’s important to you! It may feel a tad heavy in your bra compared to a traditional pump. If you want something that feels lighter you could look at the momcozy V2 or Elvie stride
@@MadisonLoethen what exactly is the fridge hack? I’m not too worried about the weight of the pump as long as it gets the job done. I had the Motif Luna double electric breast pump for my first child & I didn’t really like that much because of the latch so I’m hoping the Lansinoh discreet duo will work better, I know now that it can depend on the flange.
I think you’ll like it then! The fridge hack is where you stick your washable parts in the fridge in between pumps and then just wash them once at the end of the day.
@@maemae1155 I've given my Willows away now but here's a little rundown: The 3.0 is the only one that you can lay down and bend all the way over but it is prone to error messages, the Go is fabulous it's just not easy to do the fridge hack with because the motor's in the middle, the Lansinoh is great it just doesn't have an app so you need to individually adjust each motor.
What's your absolute favorite wearable breast pump? I can get two from insurance, so im getting the spectra s1 plus for sure.... but for wearable, im between the Willow Go, Momcozy s12, Momcozy M5 or even the Elvie stride or this lansinoh one. Too many to choose from! Help :D
Ha I like all of these in different ways! The stride is good if your bigger chested, the Willow Go is great but tricky to do the fridge hack with, the M5 and Lansinoh are great too

That’s wild lmao did you end up finding a pump to do those things ? I’m really curious
Any others tips on leakage? Love this pump but have been experiencing issue with leaking.
This one is super similar to the Momcozy M6!
I am in between this one and the Mom Cozy M5, I'm curious if you'd recommend one over the other and if so for what reasons? Please and thank you. I'm having a really hard time choosing.
They are very similar! The Lansinoh can hold more milk though ❤️
Which mode would you suggest to get the most milk?
I like 2 min on stimulation and then the rest of your pump on expression. Pump for an extra 2-3 minutes after you've gone dry.
Which button for massage
Momcozy M5 vs the Lansinoh discreetd duo? Which is better?!
Both are good pumps! The Lansinoh can hold more milk.
I'm trying to decide whether I want the Elvie Stride or Lansinoh Discreet Duo. Which would you say is better for on the go and discreetness in terms of suction and overall quality and product?
Both are great pumps. The Stride is a little quieter but it has those tubes. Depends on your preference really!
Thank you for this! Super helpful
You're so welcome!
If we are pumping daily how often do you think we should replace the duct whatever it’s called lol
every couple of months!
Where are you able to get more milk collectors for this model? I am having trouble finding it on Amazon…
They have then on the Momcozy site too!
How do you get the milk out of the pump?
The pour hole at the top. You can also peel back the flange once the motor is off
What would you recommend The Lansinoh Discreet wearable pump or the Spectra S2 plus wall pump? I’m trying to decide which one would benefit more starting out pumping for the first time! Don’t know which route to go. Just want it to be successful this time around. Thank you for any help. ❤️
I really like having both a wearable pump and a traditional pump. Wearables are amazing, but some women produce less with them - which can cause problems if that's your only pump or you exclusively pump with them.
Okay thank you so much. I will definitely look for a wall one I have already ordered Lansinoh discreet. Just so I can have both. Just in case. Thank you so much for your help and advice. 🥰❤️
@@KingdomBlendedFamily of course!
Which one do you recommend more??? The m5 or the lansinoh?? Help
They are very similar! The Lansinoh can hold a little more milk
How do you dissassemble it?
It came already or together and I'm so confused!
Take the flange off and then remove all the other wearable parts ❤️
@@MadisonLoethen thanks
Which one do you think is better to use especially if you have sensitive nipples momcozy or lansinoh?
I think either would be fine - I would focus on getting an inset that fits you perfectly and a level where you’re comfortable, but still effective
Do you think this one or the Elvie stride has better suction? Both are free with my insurance. I’ve tried willow go with my last pregnancy and wasn’t able to empty completely compared to my spectra despite pumping for 30 min.
Probably the stride at the highest levels. Both do the job nicely though.
Hi... does it indicate if its full or when to stop? Do we need to keep monitoring it if its full?
You do have to watch it and manually stop it if it gets full
What is the difference between massage and stimulation mode on this pump?
Just different types of sucks. Some women respond differently to different patterns
What is the difference between stimulation and massage mode?
Stimulation has a long pull after several short pulls
I have the other Lansinoh wearable pump. I am considering getting this one since the name suggests it’s smaller. Is it lighter, smaller, less cumbersome than the other Lansinoh wearable?
I don't have the other Lansinoh wearable sry!
I’m currently shopping around for a wearable pump. I’m between this one and the Tomee. Which of the two would you recommend?
I actually haven't tried the Tomee yet but I would go with this one based of the reports I've heard of the Tomee suction being too strong and causing nipple damage
Omg I totally meant Zomee lol sorry!
But I think I’m leaning more towards this anyways. Thanks for the reply :) @MadisonLoethen
@@amandaponce736 🙂
is this stronger or weaker than the momcozy m5? i have an m5 rn and HATE it cause it does an awful job of emptying me the way my wall prison pump did and the way some off brand pumps i have did. only bought the m5 cause my off brand wearables had one of the motors die.
It feels stronger to me ❤️
Would you recommend this pump or the momcozy m5 more?
Hm idk they're pretty comparable. This one does hold more milk.
Which do you think is better the momcozy m6 or lansinoh?
Both are good pumps! And pretty similar! The M6 does come with that nice bag.
can you compare momcozy vs lansinoh vs willow go wearables? Im torn between them
This Lansinoh and the Momcozy Mobile style are super similar! The Willow Go is great it’s just hard to do the fridge hack with.
This was helpful. Thank you!
so glad!
Hey do you empty this pump once it’s full
You just pop off the motor and pour it out the pour hole or you can peel back the flange and dump into a bottle
does it have a timer?
It does, you can also set the pumping time on it
Yes!
@@MickeyBoop what do you mean? pumping time?
Have you compared this to the 8 oz lansinoh wearable pump?
I’ve only tried this Lansinoh wearable!
What’s your preference between this and the momcozy m6?
Both are great and super similar. The Momcozy does come with that nice bag.
Can this be sterilized in an electric sterilizer and dryer?
I’m not sure! I boil before first use then occasionally run parts through the dishwasher
How do you pour the milk out?
There's a pour hole at the top :-)
How do you use those two bra straps that come with the pump? I cant figure out how to attach them and i threw the manual away already ofc
I don’t use those I just loosen by bra a little bit
Is this pump better than the zomee wearable, and the elvie stride.
All are nice pumps! This one is easier than Zomee to do the fridge hack with. The stride sits lighter in the bra because the motors aren’t attached
@@MadisonLoethen Thank you
I misplaced my charger for it what kind of charger does it take?
Takes C type charger.
Does it have an app that you can control the speed on the app instead of taking it down to adjust the speed or mode?
This one doesn’t have an app!
Why do you need to take it down for adjusting?
Can we sterilize any parts? because on the instructions say just soap and hot water
I’ve done them through the dishwasher and it’s been fine. I haven’t tried a sterilizer
Thank you, this is very helpful
so glad!
I typically wear a dd/ddd is this pump equipped to deal with bigger cup sizes?
Yes! It may feel a tad heavy in your bra compared to a traditional pump but it should still work fine
I’m a J and decided to give this a try since my insurance covered it. It’s certainly not discreet but it gets in there and works! Lol
Yes it does! Im a dd/ddd and its already working excellent for me
@@LarissaJohnsondeel I am still struggling with it and just recieved the appropriate size flange so going to try again
How do you clean after every use ?
Scrub brush with warm soapy water (I use dawn)
@@MadisonLoethen do you take it all apart every time ?
@@brittneyestep2775 I usually do the fridge hack and wash it once at the end of the night
@@MadisonLoethen perfect. Thank you
Does it have a pour spout?
Yes!
I just got this and I can't figure out how to get it to work 😅 first time mom here even with the flange it just doesn't do anything
what specifically is going on? maybe I can help.
@@MadisonLoethen I think I just didn't have the insert in correctly it's all good now just trial and error
@@emilylee5109 so glad you got it figured out!
are you giving any of these away? you have so many LOL
I can't get my valve to stay in
How do you change the pumping time ?
You just stop it when you’re done ❤️
@@MadisonLoethen it stopped at one minute. Which was weird.
@@NyabMos_VLor That is weird. They both stopped?
@@MadisonLoethen correct. They both stopped at 1 min. So I thought maybe there was a way to adjust the time ?
@@MadisonLoethen can you do a video where your comparing the Lansinoh discreet duo, Willow Go 3.0, & momcozy
My insurance covers this but I have also heard great things about using the Baby Buddha with additional wearable cups. Do you have thoughts?
I haven’t tried the BabyBuddha with the cups yet!
The stride is good if your bigger chested, the Willow Go is great but tricky to do the fridge hack with, the M5 and Lansinoh are great too
There are 2 Lansinoh wearable pumps what are the differences?
Yes! I haven’t tried the other one but from what I can tell this one is nicer
I got mine but scared my small nipples won’t fit in.
Only the actual nipple not the whole areola should be what is sucked in
Would you recommend this pump or the momcozy s12 pro. I’m having such a hard time choosing between the two. I need strong suction and tend to over produce. Help😩
The S12 pro is a bit stronger!
What is your favorite wearable pump ?
Ahhhh idk! So many good options these days!
Which one should i chose this one or the zomee fit? Idk which one will be better 1st pregnancy.
Both are good pumps! They are very similar in features too. I think it just comes down to personal preference.
Where are you able to get more milk collectors for this model? I am having trouble finding it on Amazon…
I think you have to go to the Lansinoh site for now since it's still so new
How do you pour the milk out into a bag?
You can pour though the pour spout or do into a bottle and then a bag
Where are you able to get more milk collectors for this model? I am having trouble finding it on Amazon…
You probably need to do the Lansinoh store for now since its a newer model

I’m sure they’ll be up there eventually but you might just have to get them off the Lansinoh site for now since it’s a new model
