Hi there! The preparation of SEBI GRADE-A alongside IBPS PO Mains totally depends upon your aptitude and dedication. It is not impossible, but will be extremely hard. You have to put 13-14 effective hours daily to make it happen! All the best!

For paper2 is it required to practice lot of mcq or one should rely on few mock tests?
Hi there! There is no harm in practicing a lot of problems, the more the better. But if the concepts are well understood (be it for phase-1 paper 1 or 2 or even phase-2) the purchased mocks with few tests would be enough. The questions in the actual examination are in the line of the mocks that we practice. We can go either way, but have to make sure our concepts are well understood!

Hi there! I didn't know about the subjects either. But the sources that I chose to study really helped me to prepare for this exam. You can go through with this exam if you have an aspiration for it!

Hi there! I apologize for the late reply. In phase-1, Paper-1 and 2 occur simultaneously without any gap. Paper-1 is of 1hr and when 1hr is exhausted, paper-2 of 40 minutes starts immediately. Same is for Phase-2. Both papers are conducted simultaneously.

Hi there! Evidently from the last year's paper, we can say that GA in SEBI Grade-A is far more easy and in line with the IBPS examinations. So, the depth shouldn't be as much as we apply for RBI.

Hi there! From what I can understand, you want to differentiate between phase-1 and phase-2 questions of the similar subjects. Well, the concepts are same, but the level of difficulty is obviously the demarcation. If you see the last year's paper (on my telegram channel), you'll get to know the type being asked in phase-1 and in phase-2. I request you to check the paper and get an idea!

Hi brother first of all thank you for your guidance .. Am a MBA finance graduate and having 4 years of experience in foreign bank. Now am a housewife and mother of a kid.. now i decided to appear in SEBI this year.. If am starting today onwards did I able to crack this exam.. pls guide me i lost hope after continuos failure in past IBPS exams by one mark and 2 marks.. kindly pls tell your opinion and suggestions .. it values a lot.
Hi there! Regarding IBPS exams, my story is almost similar. I have been preparing since 2017 and didn't clear a single exam completely in that phase. But, in my last attempt at SEBI Grade-A, I scored really well. It is a difficult task to achieve, but not an impossible one. I know, being a mother, you have all the major responsibilities of a child and the time to study must be scarce. But, for this exam, you have to try and start taking some time out for the syllabus completion. Try devoting 5-6 hours daily to phase-2 subjects, and practice some mocks for phase-1 paper-1, where you need only 30/100 marks. I hope this helps you!

Hi there! I am still thinking about it. It's a 70% "yes I am" and a 30% "no I am not" for me, as my main focus is RBI Grade-B 2022. I will take the exam for sure, but will I dedicate the preparation for this, I am still unsure of it!

Hi there! Yes, there is. There is a pre-defined cutoff of 30% in paper1 with 1/3rd weightage and 40% in paper2 with 2/3rd weightage and there is an overall cutoff of 50%. But, a merit is created in phase-2 in which candidates almost 3 times the number of vacancies are called for the interview.

Bro you a much higher chance of clearing all the phases in 2022.Just keep it up.i too appeared for sebi this year but unfortunately i couldnt clear paper1 and secured 29.69..paper 2 50.50..i have been giving all these bank exams and QRE is not an issue.i easily clear the cutoffs off po and clerk levels but when it comes to sebi i find myself so weak in paper1..what can be the effective strategy for paper1?the mock tests are so damn tough..i just score between 20 to 30 everytime and that frustrates me a lot
Hi there! For SEBI, the syllabus and pattern are almost similar to banking exams. The mock tests are designed tough so as to prepare you for the worst-case scenario. There is no harm in getting scores less than 50 in these mocks, but what you are doing afterward will matter the most. Analyze these mocks very comprehensively and check where you lag behind and where you excel. The phase-1 might come a little hard this year, but not too difficult as these mocks are. But to prepare yourself for the worst-case scenario, you have to practice harder questions as well. Plus, you know there is a well-defined cut-off. So there is no need to put too much emphasis on phase-1 paper-1. I hope it helps you in some way!
