    I teach middle school, and sometimes it's hard to really explain to my kids why we need to sometimes adjust ourselves to the surroundings rather than expecting others to just deal with however we decide to be. It's not one or the other, it's murky, and hard to put into words.
    Maddy is the perfect example of just dialing into different levels of herself depending on who she's interviewing. To see guests just visibly change body language and relax is so nice. And the perfect balance of shade and appreciation, not just to the guest, but herself. It's those deadpan divas you gotta watch out for 😄
    Everyone remembers that kid that was friends with EVERY social group, and when you talked to them, you got why. Maddy is that kid. I'm reminded of so many of my students from over the years while binge-watching these videos. If they grew up and kept what Maddy shows in every interview, then my teacher heart will burst with pride.
    Great work, Ms. Morphosis.

    • @elena6519
      @elena6519 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +20

      That's a kind comment, because you frame this behaviour so positively. Sometimes I think, I'm too much of a social chameleon or boring push-over because I change the way I talk based on who I'm talking to. Before you pointed that out, I didn't recognise this energy in Maddy, even though it's rather obvious that she can get along with a wide spectrum of guests. Now I'm rooting for Maddy even more, as the representation of us calm and unproblematic folks who *sometimes* make surprisingly good sarcastic comments, nobody ever seems to see coming. Maybe in Maddy's case it's more often than "sometimes" though, but just barely.😉

    • @jJaqStone
      @jJaqStone 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +13

      @@elena6519 Being a social chameleon is very healthy, and it's completely natural. We do adjust our language, and even body posture, based on who we are talking with. Then after the party closed at 4am everybody was spilling out into the street. I just love Mo Heart -- their whole journey, opening up about their wild story with family and growing up queer, and just the way that she talks and presents herself is so calming and wise from someone who has lived a wild life. Another amazing interview yas queens

    Every time Mo Heart speaks, it feels like a sermon. There have been many moments where they have made my hair stand on end by how beautifully and vulnerably they expressed themselves. Specifically, S10 Ru-Union. She quotes the Bible dressed in drag and I feel the presence. God Bless you Mo. I feel your Heart.

    The cutoff year for millennials is like 96 so we 94 girlies are still in 🙈

    • @rushy4321
      @rushy4321 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      To be the age of 4 at the millienium feels like you aren't influenced by culture that much... Girl you too young to even have memories. By the time you're 10 years old its 2006 and well past 2000. I think millienials should cut off at 1990, ages 10-19 is the prime range for developing who you are into adulthood.
