I wish someone would ask Tony Atlas about the match with Superstar Billy Graham that became the actual open footage to the early Georgia Championship Wrestling intro. . where he is giving Superstar Billy Graham the Thes press punches. . . what happened that night??? I was back in the late 70s.

Thanks. . He was really hitting him. . . i remember as a little kid watching that actual footage with Gordon Solie before it became the footage intro to the show. Superstar Graham looked like he was knocked out on his back in the ring and Tony was sitting on top of him and i mean he was really hitting him hard. The ring bounced as he was hitting him and he headbutted him after the punches so hard the ring ropes bounced!! He truly seemed like he was mad at SBG!. Tony was my childhood wrestling hero back then!! Not because of this but because he just was!!

No one can compare Andre the Giant to any of the other "commodities" in the business because unlike them, he actually drew money and people from all generations knew and respected him. The Undertaker didn't become as "respected" as he is up until he went back to the "Deadman" gimmick in 2004 and by then people argued he should've retired then.
Andre was the complete opposite... As soon as it became apparent Andre would no longer be a major star attraction or attend a live event due to his health, Vince Jr. was already missing his biggest attraction opposite of Hogan and tried his best to replicate Andre with the likes of Earthquake, Undertaker, Giant Gonzales, even Sid but it came to no avail. Andre was simply naturally gifted and cursed with his body and it made the business so much money but it came at a huge price -- his life.

Big Show might not have been as well put together as Andre, it might have deformed him more. Big Show got treated really early, and you can still see that his proportions are a bit off. Andre stayed very well proportioned into his early 20s, before you could really see some of the noticeable deformation of his skeletal structure. It may have put Big Show on crutches and messed him up alot earlier than Andre. Andre could have probably even lived past his 50s with the disease if he tried to take care of his body to even a small degree, instead of eating bad, never exercising and constantly drinking. Looking at Big Show, I doubt he'd have made it to Andre's 46 yrs with the disease, even with taking care of himself.
