Think of the paycheck' best line ever to an actor knowing he's in a money sequal. And it's even more hilarious that Gus Van Sanit plays the sellout director.
Looks more like Miramax's (and by extension everyone's favorite EP "Mr. Weinstein") most ambitious advertisement. Which makes perfect sense when you factor in that Kevin Smith hasn't made anything good since clerks 2(and even that honestly wore thing before the ending came around)
this scene is so quick and smart and hilarious, as is so much of that movie. If famous folks would just keep their activism to relevant areas of their lives and not seek to 'educate' us all, the world would be such a better place.
I totally forgot about this haven't seen the movie in a long time. Is Ben Affleck making fun of his accent in Good Will Hunting? I believe I remember some interview where he stated he never had an accent growing up as it is..
@monokhem Shut the fuck up if youre just going to keep saying the same shit over and over with no fucking proof of anything. A person without any fucking vocal cords cannot speak on their own enough to have an accent. If you're refering to the electronic devices that they have to use well those strip the accents almost to just the same robotic voice. So you can stop with your denseness cause holy shit is it annoying.
@@robzilla730 Pretty much everyone in Hollywood knew about Harvey's antics and did nothing about it for years. As long as their careers were safe they didn't care.
I fucking lost it when he said "i guess your just not that good....will hunting" then looks back at his friends laughing like 'get it?'. that was genius and yet so simple. makes me laugh everytime.
To me he'll always be Cyril O'Reily from HBO's *Oz* , brother of Ryan O'Reily, played by real life brothers Scott William Winters & Dean Winters. Dean Winters is still one of my favorite "lesser known" actors of all times, and even if *Oz* wasn't as good as other early HBO shows like *"The Sopranos"* or *"The Wire"* , the Winters brothers really helped carry it in its later seasons, alongside JK Simmons, Chris Meloni, Kirk Acevedo and the rest of this fantastic crew. (basically season 1 to 4 are really good, then season 5 starts the decline, and season 6 is Oz's version of season 8 of "Game of Thrones")
This still is the best cameo in movie history. The fact they got Affleck, Damon, and Winters all back for this is hilarious. I guess Affleck was already in the movie earlier, but getting Damon and Winters, lol. I have to imagine Affleck called those two and was like, "You guys gotta do this."
I love how Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back pay homage to many of the films Jay & Silent Bob appeared in. At the start of the movie, he claims the song by The Time was written "by God herself", a reference to Dogma. Another one is when Bob is trying to mutely tell Jay about the Hollywood sign on the back of the Mini-Van, Jay screams at him for not talking, making reference that he was fine saying his huge monologue about "Chasing Amy", another movie they starred in a long side Affleck. And here we kind of have 2 references. First we see Shannen Doherty, who stared in Mallratz with them, but to make another homage, they set her in a scene from the movie franchise "Scream", a movie series not part of the shared universe the other movies share, but one that Jay & Silent Bob appeared in, with them making a cameo during the movie studio tour in Scream 3. Even the start of the movie is kinda an homage to Clerks, showing them growing up outside the QuickStop.
