I can relate to this so much. My husband is a theater guy/entertainer/singer with ADHD, and I am a deep, anxiety ridden, depressed people pleaser😂 Talk about Yin and Yang. I have been struggling with ROCD for over 4 years with him, and I get physically triggered when he's around my kids and family because I fear them making fun of him, and the feelings that makes me have. I am constantly telling him to tone it down, and I know how unfair that is to him. My whole life I have worried about what people thought of me, and being accepted. I am very introverted and I do not like attention on me. He gets tons of attention, but I've heard people say he's too much sometimes and it makes me pull away from him. I didn't know what ROCD was until finding Awaken Into Love. I need serious help. Thank you for all you do

This explains my rocd exactly! Wow. I do have a question tho. How do you know it’s a biological need we fear won’t be met? Specifically the one about nitpicking how partner talks/communicates and acts to others

Can nitpicking cause discontentment and cause you to desire other people
