Would love to see a supplemental video when you do find your bits again. Would love to see what you could do with some of your frostgrave, oathmark, or even sci-fi bits!
This. I'd like to see him combine them with sci-fi bits (maybe Wargames Atlantic stuff?) to make sci-fi knights. Though I imagine the chainmail sleeves might be an issue there.
We had plenty of the army men too, but the knights had such vivid colors! I'm sure that was part of what caught my eye with them. These guys are going to have to be just as colorful!
@@ObscuritiesinMiniature the only GW Army for fantasy that I still have are my Britonians, and a lot of the Knights have been replaced with resin 3D printed Knights. And my classic squats
I'm not a stickler for correct facing colors and buttons, but as far as medieval figures go I find there is a clear separation between the "chainmail era" and "platemail era" and I don't like mixing the two. For whatever reason, there seem to be more manufacturers doing the former than the latter. Ironically, pretty much none of the real historical periods matches with our "classic" image of knights -- plate with heater shields...
I'm going to be interested to see how these compare to the Victrix ones that are coming out, though I am liking that Victrix made a fantasy helm and cloak sprue for the knights
I might grab some still just to see how they compare, and having a variety of knightly types ready to do battle against each other is never a bad thing.
Eh the spear was used by everyone from the unskilled to the highly skilled and trained because it was effective simple and game you alot of reach as well as many ways to use it. So yes knights did you them not every knight as knights were generally very well off people who had access to lots of weapons and usually life of training for the most part

Those remind me of some 15mm knights I got way back in the day:)!!!! Good times!!!!
For me it was green army men and airfix figures that started me on this Fantastic Voyage.

Airfix Japanese ww2 Infantry in early 1960s, painted with Airfix paints and a cocktail stick. I've been painting figures ever since.
These are nice, got to have Knights on foot! And Victrix is coming up with a new set as well!! 👍👍
I’m excited to what comes out of both ranges
As am I. Neither company disappoints!
@@ObscuritiesinMiniature I believe at one point victrix announced a rus set which I can’t wait to kitbash with these
The knights are a little skinnier than other WGA models but i don't think that's a bad thing. I can't wait for the rest of the line to come out
Perfect for my imperial knights as household guard
My first thought on tinkering with them is how easily they take some scifi arms.

Absolutely. Cloaks and the like are such fun parts to give a model more character. Glad someone's putting some plastic ones out there!
Still debating on these or the victrix foot knights that are due come out.

whot size baces did you stick the guys to.
What about Bretonia?
Too obvious!
Spear is a peasant weapon ...no knight would use one
Yeah, they use cut-down lances instead!
