Bro might need to skill block the people in clan wars lmao when someone is so far behind on their own it does not matter but in a team format its really not fair that the races are just determined by people being like 30 seconds behind somehow.

I know it’s all for fun but I do feel bad seeing Nick get washed every week 😭 y’all might have to go back and review these videos before you pick teams next time because a couple of Nick’s teammates had no business playing that badly the whole time

With respect, idk if the “Area” player is skilled enough to be in the wars. I know it totally sucks to be that guy, but for video entertainment purposes, equally skilled (or close enough) teams are where the best races will be

I might be wrong, but I can only assume they're sabotaging the team because it happened like every race
I think Joker is fine, he scored 26 points in the last GP, and was on top on some races, not the best but he can compete, but Area does not have the level for sure.
As someone who has played against Joker's Wild Wing multiple times I can vouch for his skill level for sure, for what it's worth he normally uses Inside Drift Karts from my experience but he kicks ass when he does
It's would be nice to see some of the very strong kart players from troys Channel like Police
Retro Rewind's instability really is a downside. Players disconnect almost every GP and it hurts the clan wars as a result. There hasn't been a single war without a disconnection since starting.

I would like to see Nick's team be more competitive and I feel like some players are not quite at the right level. Maybe it's time to bring in some of the ogs on his team. Considering you are playing karts, why not bring in Empex but most importantly the goat Police?
Rooms are first come first serve, and police was trying to join gp3 but someone else joined lol

I think Joker was just having a bad day or something, cause they performed pretty well in the last flounderfest video, but Area's gotta be banned from these rooms until they can improve their skills. Area has not managed to get 10 or more points in a GP, and multiple times during this video, they were in last place by over 20 seconds, which is absolutely pathetic.

don't worry about it! sometimes, you just gotta know when to step back. I used to play a bit of lounge, but after scoring sub-60 a couple of times, i decided to step back to improve my skills. from your videos, i can see that you're a very talented player, so keep on practicing!
Joker here, I literally had the worst GP of my life, and have more time on inside drift karts than outside lol, I got knocked off the map multiple times by my teammates on my screen 😂 I was so frustrated, last GP with 26 points was much better.
I was going to say it seems like Nick always has someone who is comedically far behind. His team have been getting the most unlucky clan wars of all time.
At this point I feel like Area was trying to sabotage Nicks team cause what was that. 💀

Good job peeps that played! These flounderfest videos that have came out recently have been so much fun to watch and I’m glad to be here now for a brand new season of it returning! Also I got Retro Rewind back finally!

i havent played rr tracks in a while, ive never played team wars and i also kept having some weird issues, including one where my montior would turn off for a bit
i wont play flounderfest for a bit till i practice with karts and outside drift vehicles
Ehhh don’t beat yourself up to bad you’ll catch up quick but using non traditional vehicles is an adjustment for sure. You’ll catch up talent wise!

Relating to the little convo about GCN Rainbow Road's length, I do think that if it ever returned as a retro track in a future Mario Kart, it would be a two-lap track instead of three-laps. I don't think it should become a section track, but it being two-laps would be a good sweet spot for it.
Honestly one of my favorite parts of these videos is just seeing the custom tracks

After all this time of watching flounder fest, I’ve enjoyed it but whenever Nick is freaking out about something crazy, we just kinda have to imagine what happened. It would be so entertaining to see a side by side or AT LEAST some cutaways during funny parts from Nick’s POV. Keep em coming Troy!

The Area and Joker players were either trolling or are just way too terrible for these videos. It´s not so fun watching clan wars where the outcome is decided by two players getting last two in every race.
Joker was likely trolling, I've played against him in Retro Rewind several times and he's definitely one of the better players. Playing against his Inside Drift Wild Wing on a bike feels like an autolose lmao
Joker here, wasn’t trolling,had horrible GP’s, bad items, bumped off by teammates, it was rough. Final GP was way closer to normal performance 😂

More counterparts! Definitely makes this a bit easier for me. The Wild Wing and Mini Beast are the third default kart in their respective weight class, and the respective kart counterparts of the Mach Bike and the Bullet Bike, and the respective medium and small counterparts of the Flame Flyer, which means they both boast high speed, drift, and miniturbo (all exceeding 49/80), while suffering from poor accel, handling, and offroad (falling below 35/80). They both suffer from the worst acceleration of all vehicles (not just karts!) in their respective weight classes. They have the highest drift and mini-turbo of all karts in their respective weight classes, and second-highest of all vehicles in their respective weight classes. The Mini Beast in particular having the best of both out of all karts in the entire game.
Curiously, the Wild Wing does have a decent weight stat (51/80) while the Mini Beast has poor weight (29/80), which isn't surprising as it's a small vehicle. This means that neither one has any average stats (ranging from 35 to 48 out of 80). That being said, the Mini Beast is the second-heaviest small vehicle, not that it matters against the Wild Wing. The Wild Wing also has better speed than the Mini Beast, and is the second-fastest medium kart and third fastest medium vehicle (counting base top speed only, so not including wheelies). The Mini Beast is better in all other stats, while still being the second fastest small kart AND small vehicle in the game.
The Wild Wings want more straightaways and more opportunities to bump the Mini Beasts off. The Mini Beasts want more twists and turns. Neither one wants to be hit by items or track obstacles.
Something fun about the palette swaps is that Luigi and Yoshi are the only ones whose middle stripe on the Wild Wing is NOT the same color as the sides of the kart, and Daisy and Bowser are the only ones whose fenders don't match the hoods. Sorry, the Mini Beast doesn't have any unusual palette swap quirks.

i think seeing wild wing vs honeycoupe woulda been interesting cuz they have nearly identical stats
the wild wing is obviously better than the honeycoupe because it has better speed, drift & mini-turbo
I think the flame flyer is better then both of them but most people ain’t good enough with karts to control it and i think the mini beast will win against the wild wing for that same reason the wild wing is a good bit better but people are skill issued.
