It would be a good policy to only let police who are 40 years old plus, carry weapons like that, and only under "special circumstances".
Marti if you hadn't filmed that, I wouldn't have believed it. But I heard it with my own ears; don't film the religious book. I need this officer to protect me and ensure British law to keep order in this country, not to enforce some sort of Islamic blasphemy laws. Given the crazy, all-encompassing definition of 'Islamophobia' currently being pushed through, this is truly worrying behaviour from our police officers.

It is a book, plain and simple, and the officer misinterprets this. How bad can a person get, and the female needed to try and show she was equal to a man, disrespectful to members of the pubic, should have kept her loud mouth shut so as not to shame herself. I have never had any time for the police, neither did the generation before me, which goes back many, many years to before the Second World war. So nothing has changed
