Wow. You guys are going to love it. We have traveled to Canada with our kiddos in our camper many times. Love camping at Banff, and seeing that pile of firewood made me smile. I was happily surprised to see piles of firewood at these campgrounds. I remember seeing lots of wildlife in and around where we stayed. Have fun and don’t miss going to Lake Louise. Happy trails. 👏🏻🥂👨🏼🚒
Great video with some super helpful tips! I’ve actually been to Banff and Jasper myself, and I absolutly loved it. Your advice about the Icefields Parkway and campground reservations is spot on. It brought back great memories of my own trip. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Great Video and great content/tips. We're planning an extended trip that will take us up through your neighborhood and ending up in Seward, Alaska, then back across the Trans-Canada. The information you provided saved me a TON of internet searching - THANK YOU
So glad I was able to go to Jasper in June ‘24. We stayed at the beautiful Mount Robson Inn - which was one of the casualties of the wildfire, unfortunately.
Very sad what happened up there. We're also glad we got one last visit prior to the fire. However, hoping good things can come from rebuilding and rejuvenation 🙏🏻🌲👍🏻
I just like the name BANFF. :D I think with the distance between gas stations, I'd have to make use of one of my jerry cans (I have a tire carrier mount for one) just for piece of mind. Speaking of fuel, did you have any issues using your credit/debit cards? Years ago I went with a buddy of mine to a concert in Canada and the gas stations wouldn't take our cash (understandable) and none of our cards would work. We were lucky enough to be able to make it back over the border to Blaine in order to gas up. Also, it's good to let your bank know when you're traveling internationally so they don't flag your account and lock it thinking something is wrong.
@@WheresWiseman what type of lock. I understand that most are stolen from someone with a chain they just wrap the chain around both camper and vehicle hitches and off they go. My rule has been to never unhook my trailer however I tend to avoid the tourist traps.
@davidk6668 it's proprietary to Timberleaf. Remove the hitch parts and insert the lock. Would be tough to take. Hopefully! We've had it in a few videos but can't think right off which ones lol
@@WheresWiseman yeah I’ve seen it and it would be so easy to wrap a chain around it and off they go. I’ve seen wheel locks but I hear they are easy to remove. A logging chain through the wheel spokes and over the axle is my only idea however they could just drag it on a trailer and off they go.
Man you guys have turned this into a MUST DO for me! So beautiful. Great video, again!
Thanks, friend!! MUST GO!!!

Thanks for the info! Supportive comment left. ✅
👍🏻🍻
Good info.
Thank you!!! 😊
Great info. My only question is when you're in bear country, do you put your food in the campground bear box or leave it in the galley/refrigerator?
If there is a bear box we'll use it for the dry goods. If not galley 👍🏻
@@WheresWiseman thanks kids. Always nice to know what fellow droppers are doing. Keep on trucking! Love what you guys do!
Will do👌🏻 😁
Just the tips... Schwing! Hey when ya crossed into Canada did them border guards ask if ya had any "Sun's Out Guns Out" hats in the car?
🤣🤣 shoulda

No issues 👍🏻 But yes, you can usually alert bank in app
Did you ever unhook your camper. Where did you leave it and how did you lock it up. Teardrop campers are so easy to steal.
Yep! We did in the campgrounds. Have a trailer lock 👍🏻
