I have absolutely no idea what happened, but around 3:38, after that high note, _something_ in this song caused me to just absolutely tear up. I'm so glad he mentioned the need for tissues, cause at least that meant I wasn't the only one, hahaha. Amazing sound, this song had me within its first few seconds. The song has instant appeal from the jump and continues until the closing chords, the message of a eternal legacy lasting even after you are long gone is very poignant and magnanimous especially in the very challenging times we live in currently. This song will give a lot of comfort and reassurance to those who have lost loved ones throughout the pandemic and from other causes. This song is the winner of MGP 2021 and perhaps the winner of Eurovision 2021, we could be going to Trondheim , Lillehammer or maybe even Bergen.

This group is one of those once in a generation groups that are so much bigger than Eurovision. I can see them breaking through the global mainstream music scene and taking their groundbreaking sound to elevate popular music the way groups like ABBA did, or even the way Clannad was able to reinvent and popularize Irish traditional music. They have bona-fide international star quality to me, and I am excited to watch them continue growing their sound!

I have listened to KeiiNO a lot and so going into this I was a fatigued with their sound - so first listen didn't do much but then it grew on me and I examined the words -it hits the mood of the moment. Right from the start Fred stood out in this - before I liked the song I liked his contribution. He had a surprise element to his performance in Spirit In the Sky. Here he has moved into a key foundation for the song he is so esoteric and atmospheric - he underpins the song and drives it forward.

As a Norwegian I'm proud to say that I think we're in for the best MGP season ever. This is a potential ESC winner, as is Jorn and "Faith Bloody Faith". And TIX simply blew me away with his song, he has really matured as an artist and songwriter and he could win MGP b/c he is immensely popular here in Norway and especially the youth will vote for him in numbers. I also think that Beady Belle has a very cool song. Highly underrated, but wow, that song is pure quality! Still 20 songs to be released, simply can't wait for the show tomorrow and the next songs! BTW, is a reaction to TIX' song in the making?
The Sami part is probably also a homage to his legacy and the Samii people. That their paths are still visible, and their legacy will last even though Norway tried to eradicate their culture (a shameful part of our history).
