All to Jesus I surrender, All to Him I freely give; I will ever love and trust Him, In His presence daily live. Refrain: I surrender all, I surrender all; All to Thee, my blessed Savior, I surrender all. All to Jesus I surrender, Humbly at His feet I bow; Worldly pleasures all forsaken, Take me, Jesus, take me now. (Refrain) All to Jesus I surrender, Make me, Savior, wholly Thine; Let me feel Thy Holy Spirit, Truly know that Thou art mine. (Refrain) All to Jesus I surrender, Lord, I give myself to Thee; Fill me with Thy love and power, Let Thy blessing fall on me. (Refrain) All to Jesus I surrender, Now I feel the sacred flame; Oh, the joy of full salvation! Glory, glory, to His Name! (Refrain)
I have heard this hymn many times but do prefer it being sung faster as it sounds more joyful at a faster speed.The harmonies as usual from this choir are very good.
I'm an organist and I play this four times faster. Wowsers. You have ruined the hymn. It should be triumphant, not a dirge. Shame, because the harmonies are excellent.
The tempo is about 60 bpm. The piano solos are by famous arranger Joel Raney who prescribes a tempo of 64 bpm. This piece is traditionally used as an altar call. "Triumphant" isn't appropriate. Read the text.
@@diapason8326 as a piano/organ teacher, the slower tempo fits the words beautifully! It’s important to look at the words. As an organist in our church, songs regarding prayer should be mostly played a little slower!,
Awesome wonderful and beautiful singing.
It's my favourite hymn.
I love the slowness. To me, it represents the sacredness of finally giving up the fight and handing everything to God.
Nice choir
Phenomenal! One of the greatest versions ever. Filled my heart with praise for you Jesus. How we all need to surrender to you.
Beautiful Arrangement ❤
All to Jesus I surrender,
All to Him I freely give;
I will ever love and trust Him,
In His presence daily live.
Refrain:
I surrender all,
I surrender all;
All to Thee, my blessed Savior,
I surrender all.
All to Jesus I surrender,
Humbly at His feet I bow;
Worldly pleasures all forsaken,
Take me, Jesus, take me now.
(Refrain)
All to Jesus I surrender,
Make me, Savior, wholly Thine;
Let me feel Thy Holy Spirit,
Truly know that Thou art mine.
(Refrain)
All to Jesus I surrender,
Lord, I give myself to Thee;
Fill me with Thy love and power,
Let Thy blessing fall on me.
(Refrain)
All to Jesus I surrender,
Now I feel the sacred flame;
Oh, the joy of full salvation!
Glory, glory, to His Name!

Sharon has moved to Dallas I believe.
Nice harmony, but TOO SLOW!!
Nah. It's a good speed.
It’s called singing with emotion. It’s not a fight song for Jesus.

Glad you aren’t our organist.
As a young organist, I was told not to rush.... I was told, "Time was made for God, and organists!"
Have you pondered the text? I don't find this triumphant at all. Prayerful, peaceful, contemplative, but not fast.
Far - Too - Slow
yeah too slow
