  • In Odaiba, Tokyo, Japan, there is an incredible museum called the Small Worlds Miniature Museum. It’s a place you should definitely bookmark and visit! The level of immersion, interactivity, attention to detail (visually and auditory elements), and so on is just mind-blowing. It was easily my buddy and my top favorite experience of the trip. It’s highly recommend you purchase tickets online ahead of time and add on the Yurikamome day pass option (especially if you plan to spend time exploring Odaiba). What I love is that there are distinct, unique, themed areas in the museum. Each area comes with plenty of photo ops, interactions (buttons to activate special effects, etc.), a timed main show, and more. This is a video of the space shuttle show from the first area of the Space Center/Colony exhibit.

Not gonna lie, the 'launch' was super anticlimactic lol. A bit too slow to 'fly' up, but other than that very well done. It also seem like they have tried to simulate the rocket exhaust with smoke and lasers, but it could have been done much better. I guess that's more of a budget issue.

The details in the diorama, sound track, etc. are still pretty awesome though ^_^.
