The budget is blessedly not $450 million dollars or whatever Hollywood keeps spending on these tired, empty and dying blockbusters. It has pretty good production values and an ideal runtime for this type of movie. It isn't a remake, reboot, sequel or prequel. That is definitely a bonus. Big Turok vibes from this one. Hopefully theres more Dino enemies then just the standard Raptor and Rex. There’s so much potential! I went back and looked at the different creatures shown off. Looks like there’s a semi aquatic creature, a Rex, raptors, and an unknown theropod at around 1:58. I don’t think it’s a Rex cause it has long front arms that don’t match the later shots of the Rex. So it looks like there’s gonna be the basic spread of having a small, medium, and large carnivore. Definitely interested to see what species they name drop Someone in the comments has a great eye and caught that the Dino is different then the raptors at 2:27. It’s feet don’t have sickle claws and in the full body shot it looks like there’s a beak and a head crest. There’s gonna be Oviraptors!
This is why my family plays Ark Survival evolved. I swear, every movie to include a Dino in the last 5 years has been influenced by it, not the other way around.

I ended up seeing the movie and while not re-inventing the wheel, I found it to be a pretty entertaining movie, making most of its budget, cast and locations.
Just stop with that nonsense right there, seriously!
Adam Driver, Sam Raimi, dinosaurs? Hell, yea!
several years ago when going through prescription pill detox , actually imagined something similar, went back to prehistoric times through my mind lol , looking forward to seeing this!
This movie looks like it's returning horror and tension to dinosaur movies. I can't wait, it looks amazing!
Honestly the only Dino horror aside from the Carnosaur films. I can’t wait.
This has Pitch Black, Prey and Jurassic World vibes to it, and I'm all in!
Got same strong Pitch Black vibes
So worth the watch! I've seen comments saying it was predictable and slow, but did not feel that way watching it, they must've been watching something else!

Anyone 2024? ❤❤❤
If this lives up to its expectations we definitely going to have a franchise
Calm down there sparky, the world has enough mediocre franchises
The story already sucks
This is the problem with modern cinema. Every single script has to be viable for a sequel with blockbuster names just for the sake of it. Just let a movie be a movie.

No
@@MrCTruck it's more of an old boomer problem than an modern cinema one
Film actually looks like it has nuance to it unlike most movies nowadays. Very creative plot and adam driver as the main character in a thriller-horror movie seems like a great idea
plot twist, the sole survivor is a trans kid with 2 moms who were both previously dads. Also the white guy is evil and the kid knew everything n worked with the dinosaurs to eliminate all cis white males from the solar system
This looks like a high budget version of an Asylum movie, are you serious? Not saying it looks awful but it's clearly total schlock.
It's a B movie with budget. Nothing else.
That's not bad, though.
You say this like older movies weren't "Mafia movie version B" or cop movie version C
Please stop trying to they the right wing sheep to go along with this typical sci Fi/horror movie... Here let me detail your bs the girl is going to save the day ... There movie ruined.
I always loved "precursor race" sci-fi stuff! The idea that earth wasn't humans first home is such a fun story to dig into! I hope they do a good job with it!
erm, this is earth 65million years ago. so he has time jumped
@@ZeNex74 Not necessarily. If his mission started 65 million years ago it would be contemporary.
It's not a really fun story, there are multiple pieces of evidence (not admitted/recognised by the mainstream historians/archeologists) of advanced civilizations on earth hundreds of thousands of years old, which also includes the recent discovery of modern human remains dated far older than any recorded or discovered evidence published in any history books.
As far as we know anything is possible and with new discoveries, there are more questions than answers.
That said, I also hope that they will do a good job with this movie.
@@9391862 Let me blow your mind...we have all the tech already, they just revealing it in stages. So new discoveries for us but very much outdated for them.
