There are 4 of each suit 4x4 = 16, not 12, Which would then make it 8/52 for the minus. 13-4 = 9 x4 = 36 cards, 52-36 = 16. so this video is inaccurate.

There are 4 jacks, 4 queens, and 4 kings. 4+4+4=12 face cards.
Ace is not considered face card. So, it is only 4 x 3 = 12
The word problem said it considered ace as a face card. So this is kind of confusing. But I got the concept, so thanks.
