      I noticed a lot of people loosened the site screws
      the site binding up the bolt, isn't the fault of screws being tight.
      If you look at bottom of sight the nub part that goes in the spring guide rod is slightly to long pressing down on the spring guide rod.
      Between the upper and bbu the guide rod is squashed.
      Also the guide rod rounded top on stock AAP sitting slightly higher than bbu.
      Quick fix with a dremel on both and sight screw's can be tightened.

    Hey I just installed the Loki hop unit into my AAP-01 with a Maple Leaf Decipticon 70 bucking and everything is working great but there is one problem I'm not sure is supposed to be happening. With stock unit + bucking when I clear the chamber the bb falls out backwards from the bucking, but with the upgraded Loki + Maple bucking the bb seems to be snugly suctioned into the bucking so it doesn't fall out when I try to clear the chamber. The only way to clear it is to shoot it out basically. Is this supposed to happen?

    • @hadronairsoftdesigns
      @hadronairsoftdesigns  ปีที่แล้ว

      A bb sat in the bucking is perfectly normal. Its ready for the next cycle. Always check for a bb, never assume its empty.

    • @KniteGraffiti
      @KniteGraffiti ปีที่แล้ว

      @@hadronairsoftdesigns Thanks that's what I figured, looks like the seal it creates makes the gas expel the bb more efficiently. LOVE the unit btw, really precise adjustment and can send the bb up into space if I overhop which is hilarious. One more thing, I heard you say in a video that lightweight bolts can wreck the AAP, why is that? Is it an HPA thing?

    • @hadronairsoftdesigns

    How does this compare to the CNC unit from Action Army?

    • @JarnoSnoeck
      @JarnoSnoeck 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah I’m quite keen on seeing the difference between the two, The Hadron Loki does look easy with the instalation of the barrel and bucking.

    • @hadronairsoftdesigns
      @hadronairsoftdesigns  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Loki uses true TDC pressure, the AA uses nub and arm.
      Loki nub is designed for optimum bucking pressure.
      The Loki you adjust external, the AA is open upband separate.
      Fit a stock or body kit, and you can adjust with ease. I run an SRU vector which has the Loki, drilled through with guide.
      There are lots of other changes between the two. Personally, I like the AA one, it's a great option if running no stock in a mamba, or other upper.

    • @kimberleycannon6894
      @kimberleycannon6894 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Whilst the AA cnc hop unit is quality it can also be a pain to set the precise hop as it’s rotation is incremental as it clicks into set position due to a small sprung ball bearing which invariably is either side of where you need it to sit for precise hop. which can mean (in certain. Installations) that it’s either just under hopping or just over hopping. Where as this is not an issue with the Loki as it’s a true TDC adjustment. I’m looking forwards to trying it in my AAP-carbine setup to see how it compares to my existing AA-cnc hop unit.

    thats actually a lot more simple than i first thought. whats it like over range? is it better than the CNC hop unit?

    • @hadronairsoftdesigns
      @hadronairsoftdesigns  ปีที่แล้ว

      This is still a CNC unit. I presume in comparison to the AA rotary? Main differences are a true TDC nub, versus a pivoting nub. The AA is a great unit, and I do like it. However, taking the nub design from our Mk23 experience, and creating a true TDC for the AAP was the choice. When set correctly. its capable of 0.2 to 0.5 hop (flamingo), and we have run up 37rds a second over 1000's of rounds with no hop self adjustment.
