I saw this in August 2021 and even watching it online it gives me chills even in the heat of summer. I’m 74 years old and this is one of the most intriguing and mesmerizing things I’ve ever seen in my life. I think of all the years of hard work that this engine has done for America and a lot of people just don’t stop and think about those things.. It’s just absolutely amazing. Thank you Big Boy, you’re an American icon.❤🇺🇸
I'm so glad it came to Rochelle I've wanted to see 4014 my while life and it was so convenient when It stops 10 miles from home. It was an experience of a life time

Great picture and sound, but when the Diesel-Electric went by you could hear it running “working as a helper”. Most understandable here, as to reduce ware-and-tear on this very expensive antique Steam-Locomotive.
They need to bring it down to Florida. I would love to see this thing on my home tracks even through I know historically UP didn't operate down here, I have seen UP foreign power on CSX consists around here.
I have noticed that the up stops very often to insprct and msintain this engine maybe the big rail operstors need to take a lesson here and do the same with human eye ball inspections and service to possibly eliminate the horrific accidents like the one NS had in East Palistine OH a while back. They should hire more help and put cabooses back on the rear end for safety. When these big steam engines ran the companies had to maintain things, or they eould not have an operating right of way, as time went on the rail executives collude d with the crooked Republican politicians to grt rid og the help and rely on unreliable track side unmaned detectors that were proven not to work in East Palistine disasterous wreck. Get rid of theses greedy robber barron rail executives and put real railroaders in their place to stop these crooks from killing and poisoning us all from these terrible de railments!
i can only say politics has nothing to do with the lack of demand for railroaded goods. the trucking and automobile industry has helped in the decline of railroads. sad but true

We were there intermodal drive Union Pacific Yard G3 Midwestern rail fan 3257 and was a lot of traffic 🚅🚂🚝 Nice video!
