My Cousin and I, have fished out of an old Coleman canoe(consistently, at least twice a week), for about as long as you started your first video. Just like you have mentioned many of times, as I paraphrase, "There is just something about fishing the Delta", "the Unknown" that keeps drawing us in. As we still endure the dropping down and heaving up that canoe up a steep bank while in our 50's. We have wondered how long we can keep doing this, the battle, "skunks/grinds", having a few beers, just maybe catching one small fish, and telling each other "worth it!". Your videos have always been one of our intro topics, inspiring us, as we paddle to our first spot, always adding that little bump of adrenaline before the first cast. This video just puts a great ending to the year that highlights those moments that keep fisherman intrigued about the "unknown" and anticipation of maybe catching that "ONE", that keeps you going. Hey Greg, Happy New Year I am an avid angler and I just wanted to share my PB and my biggest fish of 2021. I am a kayak angler myself and one Saturday I was out on my local body of water. I was having a very rough morning, I only caught one flipping docks. So I was changing baits left and right trying to figure out a pattern. So in my mind I said screw it and started throwing around a senko (dead sticking because I had braid on my spinning rod). As I drift past a dock maybe 10 feet off the bank in my kayak. I cast, wait 6 second. Then I feel the smallest bait I have ever felt. Set the hook then BAM, rod starts bending and my heart is starting racing. In my head I am thinking this is a snapping turtle or a pickerel. Then it come to the surface and it a monster, 5.16 as I put it on the scale. Which is big in this body of water. I just wanted to share my biggest bass of the year to you and everyone in the comments!!!!

I was having a very rough morning, I only caught one flipping docks. So I was changing baits left and right trying to figure out a pattern. So in my mind I said screw it and started throwing around a senko (dead sticking because I had braid on my spinning rod). As I drift past a dock maybe 10 feet off the bank in my kayak. I cast, wait 6 second. Then I feel the smallest bait I have ever felt. Set the hook then BAM, rod starts bending and my heart is starting racing. In my head I am thinking this is a snapping turtle or a pickerel. Then it come to the surface and it a monster, 5.16 as I put it on the scale. Which is big in this body of water. I just wanted to share my biggest bass of the year to you and everyone in the comments!!!!
