Great video! One question. The COGS on CJ with shipping to the US is $15.39. I think your average CPA was around $35. If you also add fees you paid over $50 per sale. When you're selling it for $40 how were you able to make around 26% profit?
Hey, I was using an agent and getting the product much cheaper (just used CJ in the initial phase). Plus using upsells to bring in more revenue per sale (not just the initial product) Also average CPA is higher because I have 309 ad sets, the crappy performing ones make the average look much higher but if you look at my best performing ones, all average CPA is around $25
@@ElliottPrendy That being said, how do you know when you've got a product that CAN be a winner with some focused effort (ad optimization, sourcing an agent, bulk discounts, fulfillment optimization, etc). Do you have some guidelines for a rough % discount you can typically get when you start working with an agent that can be factored in? Do you have some general idea of how much better an ad campaign can do over time when optimized that you somewhat rely on?

You can always check with an agent the sourcing price before you start selling (can't give a rough percentage as it differs so much from product to product but check with them and when you're getting 5 - 10 orders a day you can start working with them). I've heard you will get better bang for your buck by advertising on Google ads vs FB ads, I wonder if you have ever did the ads comparative analytics to see which platform gives you better ads spend??

I did but not for this product. It depends on the product. A highly searchable product will be good with Google

Yes, there is organic traffic but mostly from social media. The blog posts don't bring much in, just to make the store look professional
