I have been selling products (I stock in the UK) on eBay for several years and am now looking into drop shopping, your video is very informative but you have forgotten a couple of costs of sales.
First is you will be charged 12.8% FINAL SETTLEMENT FEE on the total sale price of an item including shipping so this needs to be calculated into your profit margin.

Your refund options are below:
1. Get the customers to send the product back to you and refund them. Contact your supplier (CJ, Alibaba etc) and tell them you require a refund. Send the product back to your supplier and get your own refund.
2. Provide your customer with your suppliers address and get them to send the product back to them (however, they may complain about this due to shipping costs. It could effect your feedback, so I would go with option 1). Refund your customer once they provide receipt of the item being shipped back and then request a refund from your supplier once they receive the item.
3. If the item is cheap (under $10), I sometimes just refund the customer and let them keep the product. It saves me the headache and it means your feedback will be good.

It states that I have to input an EAN number before listing, is this number important? or can I just randomly generate this number? - which is what I did
😅Need a answer for the question so please reply😅 i found that ebay send money to payoneer daily so what is was thinking is that can we use that money which the buyer paid for the product to fulfill his/her order. Note- No worries about sending payoneer payment to bank account which will take several business days. I found a solution for that and tried it which let me get my money from my payoneer to my bank account instantly kindly tell me the answer for fulfilling the order is it possible.

You say list your products cheaply at the beginning until you increase your sales & ratings/feedback. You never mention that you still have eBay fees to pay so when you list you have to make sure you price to cover these fees.
Very true, ebay fees are quite low however. You could either make a small loss just to get your reviews up and make more sales in future OR list a price enough to cover fees

Appreciate the information! 39:00 That sounds just like Stripe/Paypal.. if you are dropshipping or shipping from china, you can't tell them that, and have to provide the local carrier to them. Being a bit ambiguous and they won't ask too much, but if you're be ing 100% transparent and tell them all the details about shipping from china, then they have no choice but to ban your account, even your dispute rate is low
I just mean if they initially ban your account as soon as you make it. Sometimes when you make a new account they ban you the first day as soon as you import your first product. After your account is reinstated, you can of course be transparent with your customers. Sorry if I didn't make that clear

If you can list great items in quantity you better be prepared to get them shipped without waiting for funds to be released.
So consider what items cost to be ordered as you list them.

@@ElliottPrendy Weird how this video doesn't cover a pricing strategy or the fact of the fees ebay extracts from sales.
Not including what not to sell or the rush to the bottom on price vs profit.
The main reason ebay FROWNS on dropshipping is there will be so many people selling what other sellers are selling as profitable items that suppliers will run out of items to ship.
Then sellers will have to cancel orders.
This is why EBAY wants you to have purchased the item to SECURE the sale.
The best sellers know how to avoid selling those items or know when to stop.
The average dropshipper isn't getting 20% margin after fees and if they are it isn't consistent on average.
@@scamchan I agree. I do want to mention that this is a side hustle, as you can see from my own numbers I shared I'm not making huge profits (for some of the reasons you've mentioned). Still, side hustle money can be made with the right strategy

Thank you for the video. It's probably the first tutorial in which I don't have to set a playback speed of 1.5 to, cause you get straight to the point. I have 2 questions:
1. If you already chose FLAT:UK DHL when listing, why do you have to change it when you are adding it to cart after getting an order on ebay? Shouldn't you make sure it tallies, on both ebay & cj dropshipping?
2. If I do not live in UK, and when I set up my account I used my home country address, how do I dropship on ebay UK?

The time matters to both EBAY and the buyers.
If you are stating a certain amount of handling time per order than the customer knows up front there will be a delay.
Yet you have to think like a customer that expect their order to be processed and delivered quickly.
Ebay monitors the tracking and customer feedback
If ebay has to step in to handle your customer complains about shipping and or refunds they will mark your account and when you get too many marks your account will go below standard and you can be restricted or banned.

I have just started dropshipping using CJ and I am in the UK like you.
So, I have just posted 2 items for sale on my eBay account, I chose my items to come from their UK warehouse and have set up on their website only to show me the UK stock, but I noticed that after I list the item, on the location part of the eBay listing it says that the item is in China and include the Chinese town that I can't remember now. So I went and changed it to the UK instead manually after listing, but I was just wondering, what do you do in this situation? Do you just go and change it yourself like I did or just leave it as it is?
I followed everything you mentioned on the video including choosing the flat DHL on the others tab... In just wondering if there's anything I am doing wrong. 🤔
Also it always add a postage fee for customers and I have to go again manually to add as a free postage for customers as I do take into consideration all fees with shipping included... If you could please shed a light for me 😅

The explanation all was good accepte for one tiny detail he forgot to mention and that is to do this you need to have a buisness payoneer account which you need to include some buisness papers if you try to link your buisness ebay acount with an individual payoneer account it wont work and you shall receive a message that tell you the information does not match

My advice is to approach Drop Shipping with eBay with extreme caution. I was just recently permanently banned from eBay for integrating my printify shop to eBay. They said it was violating the Drop Shipping policies which doesn't make a bit of sense seeing how they allow this integration in the first place. But they would not budget changing their mind, so therefore I will always be banned from eBay
Keep contacting them. I had my account permanently banned also. I contacted them 8 different times with different eBay reps and eventually they unbanned my account

I can bet you are in a different country than you are trying to sell to.
nicely done! but i suggest that if you clean the meta data from the 3rd party images from cj dropshipping... that also might be an reason for getting banned.. cuz ebay may notice that the product is not with you! ebay doesnt know that your a dropshipper

Hey! I’m new to the channel and have been selling on eBay for a while!
After watching your video I’ve decided to start dropshipping to see how it goes, anyway… I followed your instructions and selected “flatUK DHL” shipping option, but on the eBay listing it’s the “DHL 1 working day delivery service” how do I get around this as it’s going to take 4-9 days for delivery not the 1 working day?
I have put in the description that delivery can take between 4-9 days I’m just wondering if there is a better delivery option on eBay that gives me more days.

Sounds amazing! Yes I just used this as an example. Can choose one of the other options that have slightly longer shipping times (doesn't matter too much, except to set expectations for the customer)

the delivery time takes too long from CJ to the customer, first the item goes to their warehouse from a supplier which takes 2-3 days then they pack it and ship/deliver it which takes another 7-10 days customers keep on complaining to me, I have 100% feeback and now I will loose it, so i have had to stop dropshipping, best way to have the products with you in stock

Ebay fee is about 10% plus listing fee. £24 for a product which costs £23 is not enough to cover the cost
in min 31:20 , u said to sell my products cheaper and toa dd just one dollar, but u forgot to mention that evay's fees are super high, you can't sell with just on e dollar more
