Thank goodness!!! i made a great thriller story game that took months to make just for it not even get over 10 players 😑 This change is so needed and maybe ill update it when discovery is updated to push it out again... 🔥🔥🔥
This will be incredible for us developers, we will be able to organize ourselves better and know what we should do to grow our community. Epic really impressed us on this one.... I hope everything goes as planned.
Amazing news for fortnite creative. They should really seperate party royale genre from a lot of the other maps that are considered roleplay. Party Royale has such a strong community and it would superbloom with its own dedicated genre section.
@@SUDAGANGTV You should definitely explore party royale islands. Across all the party royale islands they probably average around 4,000 players combined at all times. It's not that popular by player count, but the community is super strong.
Go into the creator profile, click on your name with the card on the left, find your creator profile settings, scroll down and you should find your icon in there as a default llama image, just upload your icon with the correct size in there.
Personally do u feel like creators should stop publishing till chapter 6 or still worth a shot to try I am working on a map but now really hesitant to push it out now because of all these GOOD CHANGES
Honestly, yeah I think they should if waiting is something they can afford. No point releasing a map in a broken system when a month or two from now it's going to be so much better. You'll also have such a way higher chance at success too.
Hey Boss, I like your content. Would you consider shocasing my map on the next map review video. I Really put a lot of effort in this map and try to update it to keep up with competitors. It would really help me out because there are not many players on the Map. In the meantime, keep it going and stay healthy.
This whole follow-a-creator system and creator pages is in my opinion useless because majority of the top creators do not publish new maps and even creators who get a lucky break on their map tend to withdraw from creating new maps.
Updates also count to be shown either in your library or in the dedicated followed creators discovery row, not just new releases. Creators that do get lucky breaks are now more incentivized to publish more because of this update, as now they most likely have an established audience who favourited them, and if they don't and withdraw from creating maps, they're sacrificing that, or at least not making use of it. Smaller creators can slowly build an audience in game with a favorite creator finally without needing to use external social media (though its really useful). PLUS with the new collections, smaller audiences are now separated from everything in a nice little bubble and grow dynamically there, I forgot to mention this in the video, but Epic will be swapping out collections/genres frequently if they see any that's moving up in the ecosystem, plus you can also favorite the collections you like too. Larger creators can use creator's picks in their profile to elevate smaller creators in the ecosystem who are doing good. And the larger audiences who follow the big creators can see the islands of lesser-known creators. As your followed creator's picks show up in Discover. So I wouldn't describe follow/favourite a creator as useless at all.
