Now this is a great video … steps to doing anything are key. I inherited a 2000 bmw z3 roadster, she’s a great little car. I’m going to try this Thank you Cinde Jeheber Ca.
Hi there, I have a 2003 z4 2.5 does the same thing. My question is do we need to replace both the fuel filter and the pressure pump or either one would be enough. Thank you!
You will need to use a dermal tool to cut off the crimps. These will need to be replace with special fuel injection hose clamps and high pressure fuel line.
hi Davin! a question for you, the pump is ok on my Z3, also the engine turns fine. the only trouble is that the gaz level doen't work anymore? do you have an idea or suggestion for this?
Check the connection on the fuel pump. Somewhere there is a vid3eo on doing a gauge reset and getting into the secret menu on bmw E36. Try that first. If neither work then it's the sending unit on the fuel pump assembly.

I know this comment is late but always do both.
Great job
Which way does the arrow point? There are a ton of videos on this and no one says which way the arrow points
if the high pressure line has worn a hole on the opposite end of the fuel pump how do you replace the line.

Won’t be attempting this one myself. Don’t want a Jay Leno experience.
I need to replace the hoses that attach to the pump. The hoses have become hard how do I change those out. I am hesitant to just pull on it.
If they are really hard then cut them with a razorblade long ways and replace them.
