48:05 Historical fun fact: Jan Hus was actually burned at stake for heresy a short after in 1415 in Switzerland. Nowadays, he's treated with immense respect here in Czech Republic and we remember him as a martyr on July 6th.
As an archery instructor, I can tell you the way they are simulating archery in game is fairly realistic. New students have to develop specific muscle chains and muscle memory for archery that you can't really develop any other way except through practice and then the shakiness will decrease and you can gradually move up from say a 15-25 pound draw weight bow to something like 35-150 pounds, with a 150 pounds draw weight medieval English longbow aka warbow being at the very peak if you were a lifelong archer and became a professional archer in an army.
@LIZZgame i hope you do try archery! I think you will love it! It is very meditative and relaxing although the learning curve is steep at first like in the game. But once you start hitting the target pretty consistently, the dopamine reward is like a video game but much better! I am sure you can find a class near you or an instructor for 1:1 lessons, which i would recommend. Start with a package of 3 lessons, because the first two lessons are usually a bit frustrating and then by third lesson you are starting to hit those "rabbits" like Henry! Be patient with yourself and, most importantly, have fun! 😚🏹🎯
I'd also add that the stamina drain from holding it seems realistic to me. It is very hard to hold the string back with those types of bows. That's why we have compound bows nowadays.
@@kaizen5023 What about the guard for the forearm, how does that protect it? Does the string come back to hit you in the arm if youre a beginner is that just a mechanic the game has?
@FlabbergastedFish88 Bow strings can totally slap your forearm when shooting a bow and bruise/scrape the daylights out of it. Give it a google, there are good pictures of it lol.
Do not care about selling stuff, stealing, waste time, just level up lockpicking, after you can steal from Miller 1000 groshen, each Miller 1000 total 3000, and other shops, armored has 2000, other has 1500, stables 4000. If you sell 5k worth of stuff to any trader then they might get like 25-30k and you can steal that, its really worth selling bandit gear and if you steal guard equipment and any sorts of armor. For example if you steal the armorers chest in Rattay, sell it at the miller and come back a few weeks in game then it would be like 40k in that chest.
@FlabbergastedFish88 Yes, after you open their chest and steal their cash, if you need something you can buy it from them, than same cash you steal back.
@@ДЕРЬМОВЫЙ_ХРИСТИАНИН No I mean, if you sell them stuff it will increase the amount of money in the chest so instead of stealing 1000 each time, you probably could steal like 30.000

Yep, among all the other great things about this game, they even throw in a theological history 'joke'! 😅 Hus was one of a number of influential reformers, along with John Wycliffe and others, who wanted to end the corruption in the church as described in the scenes with Henry and the priest. As was common with most who spoke out against the power of the church, and wanted the simple people to be able to read and understand the Bible for themselves, he was of course condemned and executed.

Train In combat often, explore and loot cumans/bandits and you'll get free upgrades to your equipment and be rolling in grochen.
P.s group combat is always tough, it's good to try separate groups and try to pick at least one or more with your bow then draw on the remaining if your confident in being outnumbered/have the skill.
You can slash bandits with your sword on horseback. Remember that was quite effective. (I took all cumans that was buggering Theresa in the begining that way).
I was lucky to having seen the removed scene before they found it hahaha. Btw. if you fight you should really attack more. Your defensive skills are impressive but attacking will damage the opponent. Just dont waste all your stamina doing so. Here's a good tip: sometimes when you get distance they start to run for you getting out of the fighting mode. Then attack them right away because they cant block.
If you cook hunted meat, it removes the “stolen” status, allowing you to freely sell. It also lasts much longer once cooked and is healthier to eat. Cooked meat also sells for a ton of money, as game meat was considered a luxury in those times and the food fit for nobility. I think you can cook food in pots over fires. Meat is very heavy, but transferring to your horse to carry helps a lot.

You can either run from bandits or take the free loot. If they stop you on your horse like that, an easy way to help deal with them is ride past them a bit and then dismount. They will have to run up to you to fight, but don't shoot your bow. Once they get to you, they will have almost no stamina so you can stab them to death very easily.
