The back story of Ken's Bulan is discussed in Cashual Chuck's vlog. It's the story of pre-colonial Philippine Mythology about a moon god Bulan and his sister moon goddess, Haliya. They were 7 siblings originally but Bakunawa, a gigantic sea serpent swallowed them.
No comparison ,each is unique and love both ! This has a rock vibe and the guitar made it more Electrifying to watch and appreciate Felip’s musical artistry. You can never go wrong with SB19 because they always deliver !!
At the intro you can see Felip as Bulan the mortal seeing vision of his Moon God time in which he can't remember any of it at all. Bulan is among the 7 moon deities the Bathala made for the people. They are so bright and mesmerizing that when they all go down to earth all living creatures mingle with them including Bakunawa, the sea serpent deity. He became obsessed with them and decided to posses them by swallowing them. Bulan defended Haliya and vice versa. I prefer both depends on my mood. Since I’m a former dancer , I prefer the sound, beat and lyrics of Bulan when I’m in a hype mood because it’s so intense and powerful. When I’m in a chill state esp late night sound trip I go for Palayo hihi
