The problem is that they wasted too much time on flirting. Cause sometimes E is so in love with Char while Char kept on playing around with her. And when the same happened to Char, E started to get cold. Their relationship is real, but the problem is that they aren't taking a step to make it serious. Engfa wanted to be in the status of "girlfriends" but Char kept on fooling around, and she never gave Engfa a serious yes! Engfa has the right to push Charlotte to make sure of her feelings, but she doesn't have the right to keep controlling the path of this relationship. She's always the one to decide where it's going. Yes Charlotte have never been with a woman before, but she said she only feel this way towards Engfa. And that means she know she's not into women in general, she's attracted to only one, and that one is Engfa. Idk why Engfa always worried about the future? People think they have time, but in reality you don't. Love can't always wait. When you love someone just be brave and get on the boat with them, wherever this boat is going, wherever this sea is leading you to, if you're with the one you love, then just enjoy the time. Well it's good for Engfa to ask Charlotte to make sure of her feelings because it could affect their whole dynamic together. It should come naturally, not a pressure or influence from what the fans wants. there's a saying "TAKE EVERYTHING SLOW no need to rush" is what they both needed. what Charlotte said to Engfa about not pushing her away, it'll eventually happen in the future, and since she's already thinking of that way, Engfa should be there to guide her, it was like Engfa's consequence for flirting with Charlotte who is still new, and she should take responsibility. In that way they will both realize what they needed to do, it was like indirect closure. From what I see, what Char has said to Fa is just her concern regarding their friendship (or maybe their relationship in general without implying anything). Fa's explanation made sense. People/fans are not responsible for their feelings or what happened to them if they really pursued a serious relationship. But Fa should've respond in a simpler/general way, maybe try not to focus much on the 'dating POV'. Because the lengthy explanation had clearly put Char in an uncomfortable position. As much as Char was trying to keep her composure, what Fa said was hard to swallow, especially in such a public setting like that.
