I love those 58 Oldsmobiles, and the 58 GMs in general. That thing looked like it had factory AC too. If only I had the skill, money and time.

Yes, but you will spend $150k to restore it. There's virtually nothing left of 90% of these cars and trucks. Maybe 40 years ago these might have had parts worth saving.

The is there water in it question at the beginning the answer is it depends.
Chicago suburbs used to have sewer backups in to homes with heavy storms so starting in the 1970s Chicago Metropolitan Water Reclamation District started what we called the deep tunnel project where first sanitary and rainwater sewers were separated and the rainwater sewers were to be diverted to the deep tunnel in time of heavy use and then pumped out as the rivers and streams could handle the run off. That's the former Thornton quarry that Material Services used to quarry limestone from ( before the sound walls went up it was cool AF as a kid to see just how deep that quarry is. It's deep) in order for the deep tunnel to actually keep the entire Chicago area from sewer back ups or dumping untreated waste water into streams and rivers there's times when the deep tunnel system needs to be dumped into a holding tank of sorts. That quarry or quarrys ( one on each side actually) is that holding tank.

osage orange tree is nasty with thorns and hard ass wood like a soft ball. As kids we would have fights with them until you get hit by a ripe nasty one. Had dozens of them on the property, used as fence posts never rot and no insects to dense. Yellow to orange wood centers very difficult to mill but when done beautiful hard as concrete wood. Used to fill a pop bottle with diesel and light the center of the cluster, burns super super hot and next day tree is down and flowered out
