Love this man for keeping the tradition going. He’s as real as it gets.
Some few singers and writers have the nack for letting me feel at home and accepted through their work. John Prine had that in spades, and so do you Todd. The depth of gratitude escapes my words but lives in my heart for sure.

When I saw him in concert last June he was wearing shoes. He said his doctor told him most of his health issues stem from him not wearing shoes. And also the drug use.
Todd said he'd meet his Doctor halfway. Haha!
Oh my gosh, John Prine and Todd Snider are my two most loved writers and singers. To have you, Todd, sing John's music is such a sweet gift. I can only imagine John, smoking is 9 mile long cigarette right now, is so jazzed to hear you sing and know so many of his songs.

I guess I’ll have to pinch myself when I wake up tomorrow as I did 20 years ago after I saw John Prine live for my first and only time in Limerick, Ireland 🇮🇪 Not only did we hear MrPrine, but you were supporting him and I got to meet and briefly chat with you both - I listened to Happy To Be Here almost non-stop for at least a year! I feel so privileged now - take care Mr Snider 👍🏻🇮🇪🤘
