Very honest and raw as many has mentioned, love it! Many motorcycle focused channels are over edited and too aware. Keep going and try to keep from being too influenced by other channels and what they do 😁

Omg 😱 to be young again! Just think of the wisdom you have gained. I just started riding again at 59 after a 6 year gap. V strom 650 already adding hi viz running and brake lights. Steady and safe! Traveling is all about the view!
Yeah you know I do sometimes think about that as well. I try and educate myself as much as I can before I do things, but you just can't replace real life experience! Because things don't always work out like they do perfectly in yourr head haha, but congrats on getting back on the bike! Thanks for the support and stay safe out there as well!

Yeah I thing wrong just starting smaller I’d say.. at the end of the day we’re all just seeking some adventure and exploration or whatever the feeling is and most of time we really don’t need to go to far to feel it

I watched the video again with Dad but this time on the big screen. He was very impressed with the video quality and the beauty of Arizona. Way to capture some breathtaking footage.
Your channel popped up in the recommended today, and brother I'm so glad it did. You have a unique way of filming and storytelling like it's a documentary TV show. I thoroughly enjoyed it, about to watch the other 2 now. Keep up the great work!
Gavin thanks a ton my friend, what a nice compliment! Just uploaded a new video right now, pretty short compared to the others but fun and interesting I think.
Lessons I have learned riding dual sport/BDR/adventure solo, 1) Don't ride at night unless totally necessary and 2) Slow it down. Preservation is key and riding at night with reduced visibility and increased speeds are a recipe for disaster. Always ride with the proper gear as well, ATGAT, an off-road riding jacket likely would have saved you from the carnage on your elbow. I get it riding here in Texas, when it's hot you wanna strip layers off, but you found the penalty for the lack of proper gear. I love seeing you traverse BDR's on a 500, I sold my adventure bike and I will be doing them on a 500 myself going forward, they really are the perfect BDR tool when properly setup for such travel. The story telling and editing are great and I am looking forward to future installments.
My friend you're speaking words of wisdom! Yeah this AZ BDR video was my first long distance travel on a bike ever, and I learned a ton from it! Riding gear is nice and awesome just very expensive for me. Im gathering it as I go. The 500 is such a cool platform! Im really curious how it will adapt and evolve in the years to come. I think ultimately people do want lighter bikes for all the benefits they bring. Id be cool to see the service interval increase a little if possible. Im glad your liking the videos as well! I do enjoy making them.
@@LandonBishoff I've had an Africa Twin and a 890 ADV R, I came back to the large Endruo built out like a light weight ADV bike. Trying to decide on a rear rack at the moment for my bags but the more I see the more I wonder if it's even necessary for 40L bags.
That's sweet! Yeah for a rear rack I used the Tusk rackless for all my BDRs. In total its about 50L of storage. I saw no issues without a tail rack. Now that I have the bigger storage bags I got one because it was recommended. I like it because it makes tying down the back a lot easier. Before when I wasn't using the rack. I had to get creative with how I tied down the rear straps.
The gods of youtube bestowed upon me this wonderful video, and for that I thank them. I have no criticism of the video, the audio quality is great, visuals are stunning, video quality is up to snuff and the editing is absolutely phenomenal. Can't wait to see what else you have in store :)

The shorter trips will also help you feel less stressed and give yourself space to just enjoy the whole learning of it all. Feel free to reach out with any questions brotha. How’d you find the channel?
I had to say I was impressed with the way you interacted with the Border Patrol..... approaching slowly don't get too close etc 👍🥃.... Hopefully the REI half dome worked for you, for the price it's a great tent usually⛺
Haha that border patrol guy was hilarious! The interaction with him is obviously shortened down, but if you saw the whole thing you’d laugh. He was definitely in border patrol mode and didn’t really want to say much haha. But he was definitely still polite. Yeah mainly was surprised when he said their wasn’t a speed limit on the road along the border, so that was pretty interesting. Lots of hills though so I just kinda cruised through. Nothing to fast. REi tent has been awesome! It’s the first tent I’ve personally owned, other than it’s size I wouldn’t see any need of getting a different one.
@@LandonBishoff , size? tobig or two small? i have the same, but got a one man tent for light weight adving, haven't tested it out yet. good quality w video, i live in Why Az half the year, one of my favorite states.
Great stuff here! As you have done more BDR rides, did you change up your tire choices? Perhaps a harder carcass tire would be less susceptible to flats 🤷♂️
Thanks! And yeah I like the Shinko fat tyre for the desert riding I like & dunes, & so what was happening is I’d have that tire on and I’d just run it till it died on the bdr. I would never recommend that tire for a bdr, it’s actually funny but on Arizona & Utah that Shinko front tire would wear really weird where one set of knobs should be smoothed off and then the next ones would wear normal. Definitely not a road tire. I started running the rear with a Dunlopd606 and I love that tire so much I haven’t tried anything else! For Mexico I’m running the Dunlop D606 front and rear. So far so good! Im sure that the Dunlop d606 is what I’ll use for BDRs from now on. My rear tire I ran the same Dunlop on Utah BDR and the Idaho BDR and it was fine at the end! Definitely started to feel it on loose gravel, but I made 2 BDRs 😂
Great job all around man! I've been wanting to do something like this for a while and have been accumulating the gear for it. Seeing your adventure and experience is definitely pushing me to make it happen soon. Everybody is always surprised AZ isn't just sand and cactus, glad you enjoyed our state! Give a shout if you want to do some more adventuring in the area.
Enrico my man im a little late to the party here on my response haha but im glad you liked the video! Im defiantly not some point of authority on all this, but yeah man im just hoping that at the end of the day the video is a resource in some way or another haha. What to do, or what not to do. Arizona is amazing, I grew up in Blythe California so right on the border and we would spend lots of time in the Arizona Desert. Where are you located roughly?
Hayden you just got a bike my dude!? That's awesome! And cb500x is a great bike to do something like this! Ill have to convince you to go on a trip with me then!
Dang I’d be kicking myself if I bought a KTM outfitted it like that then crashed that would suck hard lol. Props to you for acknowledging being solo is more risky
Yeahh no forsure JJ! I felt super foolish, but hey they are dirt bikes and that’s what happens to them if your driving to get better and ride enough haha. Where you writing from JJ?
Haha indeed lots of Cows! Yeah got a good amount of Canadian friends, and as you know the Canadians love the Kalispell area. So ive spent a good amount of time and even single track riding over there. Montana is an amazing place in my opinion. I could defiantly live there!
Mike thank you so much! That's awesome that's a new one and defiantly on my list! And good luck Im a huge fan of just sending it and just getting out there! My buddy did the Utah BDR on like a 3 grand bike. Bike is a bike and you can forsure do it!

Sick video! Super quality! Did your handlebars get turned a little throughout the trip?? You should include a map showing each leg of the ride next time so I can see whereabouts each of those awesome locations are at!
David my man! And yes on my fall that I kinda showed from the wash out, I tweaked my handlebars a little bit there. And just never got to actually adjusting them back until I got home off the trip. And yeah that's a great idea, ill defiantly look into that for the Utah trip
from England it is great to see this, thankyou so much and i look forward to the rest of the series - i love the states, not done much of it on 2 wheels but travelled a lot in van with the family - maybe one day i get to enjoy it on a bike like you are, i ride exc510 here too - proper machine :-) i will be travelling from England, across europe to Russia next year i think - this will be majority off road :-) - been to mongolia before on a ducati monster which was mental but was pretty much all road - some of it i wouldn't call roads though 😂
From England! So cool haha, probably one of my favorite things about making these videos is hearing from people like yourself from far away. From what I can see Mongolia is a dream forsure! Great video! Yes, Arizona is the most geographically diverse state in the country. Please do yourself a favor, and install some bib mousse in your bike🤔.
Yeah I love Arizona. Yeah you know I have run Bibs before, but everyone says your not supposed to use them on long distance fast speed kinda things since they break down with the heat. Maybe thats incorrect, but with my current setup ive been alot happier as well. I use a tube and the biggest game changer has just been running front and rear Dunlop D606. I think I was running to soft of a tire on the BDRs for what I was doing.
Great work! Now I know why I stopped posting You-Tube videos :) I did the same with my Husky FE 350S. Nomad-Adv fairing, Mosko 80L setup with tank bag, Aceribis 3.9 gallon tank and Wolfman tank panniers Seat concepts seat along with a Garmin 700 gps. Cant beat a light bike for adventure riding.
What do you mean? Why did you stop? Yeah Ive never been on a big bike and would definitely like to try it someday, but until then I definitely enjoy the light weight.
@@LandonBishoff Thanks Landon, agreed on the smaller bikes. I actually haven’t stopped filming. Last year I did a 900 mile loop around Nebraska but in the process lost 2 of my 3 GoPros and a ton of film. I was bummed. I've since got a drone and plan on doing Wyoming next fall so I’ll film that for sure. I'm enjoying your Mexico video's, keep it up, you've got a great talent for filming.
Haha yeah and the video never does it justice. I was defiantly blessed with some safety there forsure. It was a great thing to happen to me. It defiantly taught me a lot in that moment!
Jeffrey thanks for your patience on my response! If I had to guess id say its about 70% off-road. give or take haha. It just depends on your skill level and what not. Also it depends on what you enjoy riding more. The BMW can defiantly take you through it. The KTM 500 is honestly probably overkill for it. The KTM 500 is just the bike I own so I take it. Also Im always willing to sacrifice comfort to be able to access any terrain I want. Id say either way you'll have fun, but plenty of people do that trip on big bikes. So you don't "need" the 500 its just if you'd prefer it.
Ahhh okay haha yeah when I was in High school I worked as a mechanic. I started off just doing oil and then little by little they would give me bigger stuff to eventually I didn't change oil anymore. I wouldn't call myself an auto tech. I can fix lots of things, but the magic is in diagnosing... Thats where I lack experience haha. Spent a good amount of money on the Matco & Snap on truck haha
The tubeless are nice since you can air down really low when you want and the small inner tube on the tubeless is protected by a thick rubber material that squeezes against the bead and is extremely strong! You can also cart spare tubes for it that are considerably smaller… Long story short through, I’ve had a few problems with them getting serviced where some tire shops wouldn’t put the tubeless system on a new tire for me since it isn’t Highway approved. So I’ve kinda just resulted back to Tubes now. So I’ve since changed over back to tubes not for the performance or anything like that, but the convenience of getting new tires put on when I’m not putting them on myself kinda thing.

This is the best start of a new channelfirst release moto video I’ve ever seen
Wow what a compliment Mike! Thanks! Means a lot to hear that coming from someone very involved in the scene! Also struggling with perfectionism it’s good to see that people enjoy it despite me seeing a lot of the mistakes with it haha
Landon I loved this video! I watched the whole thing and was surprised by how captivating it was! Thanks for sharing, can’t wait to see what you do next.
Andi that's so cool that you enjoyed it! Im glad you weren't just miserably going through it just to be nice haha
Awesome video! Such an awesome experience. Glad you had a fun time and stayed safe!
Chad my man! Thanks so much for watching it! I really do appreciate that!
Finally - I've watched all three now. Back to front, like so many things one just 'happens' to find along the way. You've got a great program going here, Landon - don't stop now... Thanks for taking us along.
Harold appreciate your input and comments a ton my friend! It’s cool to hear from people I don’t personally know and to see what they think!
There is quantity of videos but for me this is quality..I'm glad your channel popup now I'm a subscriber...!
My friend thank you so much! Yeah I hope I can always stay true to just trying to create good videos and not just get into this weird mindset of just wanting to post videos for the sake of posting.
Very honest and raw as many has mentioned, love it!
Many motorcycle focused channels are over edited and too aware. Keep going and try to keep from being too influenced by other channels and what they do 😁
Hahah I will try my best to not be influenced 😂 I’m glad you like the videos my friend I’ll try to keep ‘em coming!
Great video, you're a natural. 74 year old x-ktm rider rider now on a drz 400E.
My friend thank you so much, just trying to make videos that I wish existed. And 74 years old! That's amazing! I think that might be the most experienced person that's written to me on here! Thanks that's super cool
Came here after seeing your award from RideBDR...congratulations! Liked this vid, sub'd, looking forward to more.
William thanks a ton your the first person to reach to me about that! Yeah the BDR Organization is awesome! And I’ll do my best to keep ‘‘em rolling out!
Sick video my guy. Stoked for episode 2
Caleb my friend! Thanks a ton! I heard in Episode 2 theirs this really good looking blonde dude in it!
Man I wish I would have found your channel sooner. Well I'm here now and you are doing great young man. Very well put together videos. I just watched another one of your videos where you were talking about Baja. Me and a friend of mine also want to do that trip eventually, but like you said, we need to start a little smaller. I have only been riding dirt since 2019 and been in love with it ever since.
Haha well thanks my friend! Yeah I’m actually in Baja right now, I’m trying to figure out the whole edit videos while travailing still so I haven’t finished the first video.
Yeah I thing wrong just starting smaller I’d say.. at the end of the day we’re all just seeking some adventure and exploration or whatever the feeling is and most of time we really don’t need to go to far to feel it
Landon that was beautiful and definitely inspiring! Mason and Ezra loved seeing you on your bike too. The shots at the end of that canyon were 😍 Love seeing you do what you love!
Brooklyn thanks so much! I had a blast making it! Lets see if I can get Mason addicted to motorcycles instead of trucks! haha
Quality trip report!
Thanks Piet! The Idaho BDR is gonna be coming up here soon late September, so looking forward to reporting on how that one goes!
Just watching some of your older videos while waiting on the next new one for Mexico. All I can say is WOW that was a SERIOUSLY AWSOME!
Arthur thanks a ton my friend! That's really encouraging to hear! Ill do my best to keep them coming soon! Ill have a video out for you by the end of this week forsure!
Just found your channel and started watching your content. Loving it so far. Thumb up, shared and subscribed. Can't wait to see your next episode, and your future adventures.
Thanks a ton! I’m glad you liked it my friend that means a lot! Also probably the first person to tell me that they shared, and that is really cool!
@@LandonBishoff Content too good not to share bro :)
Ahh thanks brotha, did you share it on Facebook or something like that?
This was sick bro, good cinematography all around! Gonna check out the rest
Im a little late to the party on my response haha but hope you got to check them out and enjoyed them! Thanks for the support D'Angelo!
I have watched this entire video and i loved it i am extremely inspired by you this was awesome even the editing like the cool drone shots and pretty scenery i thought this whole video was awesome and cant wait to watch the rest
Thanks Noah! Yeah that video is special to me as well since it was my first TH-cam video and also pretty much the trip that started all this in the first place. Hope you find yourself well! Cheers my friend
Great job. Very entertaining and more importantly inspiring. I have a KLR 650 in the garage screaming "LETS GO...!"
Rick thank you! This is super kind of you to share. Yeahh get out on the KLR. Not sure where you live but, if your down south the season is in full swing
Appreciate you, Landon. Yeah, I'm just north of Orlando near the Ocala National Forest, so year round riding. Thanks again. Peace..
Way cool! I bet thats nice! haha
I watched the video again with Dad but this time on the big screen. He was very impressed with the video quality and the beauty of Arizona. Way to capture some breathtaking footage.
Hope the big guy liked it!
@@LandonBishoff yes he liked it a lot!
Your channel popped up in the recommended today, and brother I'm so glad it did.
You have a unique way of filming and storytelling like it's a documentary TV show.
I thoroughly enjoyed it, about to watch the other 2 now.
Keep up the great work!
Thanks my friend! I’m glad you’ve liked the videos. Hopefully I can keep it up for you going forward!
This rocks super glad I came across this channel
Gavin thanks a ton my friend, what a nice compliment! Just uploaded a new video right now, pretty short compared to the others but fun and interesting I think.
Good video made note of the do's and don'ts as I prep for my BDR's
Thanks Carl! And that is definitely part of the point of making the videos, glad it could help!
I am in Idaho also. (Ucon). Did the CDT a couple of years ago, but I would like to do the AZ & UT BDR's soon. Great videos!
Brother that is so cool! You should absolutely give them a check! I would say the UT BDR has been my favorite out of the three that ive done.
Hahah what a compliment! Thanks my friend! Just finished the first of the Mexico videos, so many more to come my friend, hope they hold up to a good standard, and if they don’t please let me know haha cheers!
Great videos! Happy to help you along your seriously epic journey. Congrats.
Derek thanks again so much for helping me out! Glad you got to see the videos! Also Cadillac Desert was a sweet read! I really like it actually haha
Next time you’re in AZ, I’ll ride with you buddy 🙌
Mike my friend that would be legendary! What part of AZ are you in?
@@LandonBishoff I’m in Mesa (east of Phoenix). We could organize a group ride with Arizona Dual Sport Riders, I’m the admin.
Mike I see you on Facebook a good chunk! Still need to introduce myself there. But mark my words! Well go for a ride one day!
we did a ten day ride around chile and argentina back in 2017, rented bikes thru eric lang at ride adventures, we had an amazing time on good bikes, if we do it again we will bring our own tools and our own spares tire tubes
That’s way cool Oliver! I would love to go down to Chile one day.
This make me dream of adventure, im from quebec canada and this week end im going to do a section of the trans Quebec trail, nothing like you but its a debut!! The shot of the mountain with the drone and the music is beautiful!!! Very nice video!!! By the way im riding a crf300l.
Nassim thank you! I’ve never been to Canada, but that sounds like a great time! What’s the riding like on the section you’ll be doing in Quebec? 300L is a great bike!
Encontré tu canal y es asombrosa la calidad de tu trabajo y el contenido, voy a ver todos tus videos en las próximas semanas, Saludos desde Tijuana B.C. Viva la Baja!!!

Haha small world ehh haha. And yes I know who you are brotha haha
Very well done video.. Top notch editing. I've been really enjoying your vids.. Keep them coming!!
Randy thank you so much my friend! Had some issues where my external hard drive was destroyed down here in Mexico and just got my data recovered so should start getting the videos out again more regularly! Thanks for the support man!

Inspiring for sure Landon. Rev it up. Go whichever way the wind blows, because ITDNMTR !
Dave my friend thank you! Hopefully you've been able to see the Mexico videos so far. The wind keeps blowing further and further south haha
Hi Landon, I just happened across this video and started to put Landon + AZBDR + KTM 500 6Days together. I'm the guy on the V-Strom at 31:22 of the video. That was a challenging section were we met and I wish we would have been going the same direction. At least we both made it through.
Ohhh my gosh! This is insane! David my friend how are you! I absolutely remember you, I was so impressed by how far you had come! Yeah riding together for a bit would have been really fun! Do you have instagram?

I live in Green Valley, Bro. If I knew you before you started this trip you could have stayed at our house and we could have fixed up your bike. Inspirational video for sure
Ahhh thanks brotha, this is super kind! Unfortunately we’re meeting just a little late haha, but next time I’ll swing by and say hi
Damm this was inspiring, no one is coming to make your dream come true❤
Thanks man! Yeah you know if it’s really important to you you’ll just go do it yourself. The cool thing as you can see in the other videos. Is once people saw what I was doing they wanted to come along.
Thanks so much for the video you captured the feeling of the adventure very well and the talk at the end has definitely left me inspired
Ahh dang Ethan thanks a ton brotha! I’m just trying to share what I feel like resonate with me, so glad it was enlightening to you! Also just finished the first Mexico video!
Dude you were born for this! Great job!!!
Haha well I'm flattered! I sure do enjoy this kinda stuff! Hope to keep em coming along!
Surfed in. Great stuff! Subscribed! You will soon have thousands more!
Thanks! And that would be cool if it happened! I’ll do my best to keep the videos coming
Bravo man! Great job! I'm 71 and have an Africa Twin but stay mostly around home. I have watched a ton of y tube vids about the tat and bdr's, Itchy Boots and mostly dual sport vids of one sort or another, etc etc.etc. You are doing great!!! I always like seeing the drone shots as it really gives a viewer a greater perspective of the geographic area and the beauty of the land! Keep up the great work, have fun and be safe!
71 years old! That's so cool your still out and about riding your bike! I hope to be just like you at that age! Yeah Itchy Boots is awesome, Noraly has been a pretty big inspiration for me! Thanks fro the warm and kind words! Ill do my best to keep the drone shots coming in!
Also Bouncing bob if you haven't already stumbled on him yet my all time favorite TH-cam video is a guy called Martijin Doolaard he has a couple videos called "Two years on a bike" Those videos are works of art! If you haven't seen them you might really enjoy them! Cheers my friend!
Great video and awesome trip! Had fun watching!
Thanks Jonathan, I just finished the first Mexico video as well! But thanks for the feedback!
Awesome first video, I subscribed brother!
Glad you liked it! Thanks
Great video sir…….it’s on my bucket list to do and you’re exactly right, you can’t wait for other people 😊…. Looking forward to watching the next video
Andy thanks my friend! Yeah AZ was amazing! If you have people that's awesome! If not you just gotta send it sometimes
Wow, I’m inspired. I’m a somewhat novice rider. Currently on a 250 dual sport and I dream to also do this same journey. Subscribed!
My man thanks! I think it’s so cool to read things like this! And you’ll do it man! Just start by doing little trips and then work your way up to the longer distance stuff! You’ll figure out what works and doesn’t in terms of packing and your specific scenario. The shorter trips will also help you feel less stressed and give yourself space to just enjoy the whole learning of it all. Feel free to reach out with any questions brotha. How’d you find the channel?
Don’t let them script you too much bro.. great job! They lucky to have you 🤙🏽
Ahh thanks brother! 👍👍
Quality content here!!! 🔥🔥🔥 looking forward for this channel to blow up!
Thanks Caloy! Love your videos too brotha!
@@LandonBishoff , size? tobig or two small? i have the same, but got a one man tent for light weight adving, haven't tested it out yet.
good quality w

Cool beans dude! Dale mi chunco!
Lara mi amigo! Espero que te andes bien! Un día voy a visitarle en Mexico!
good stuff man, Im a 64 year old life time dirt biker
That's awesome Rick! what bike do you ride now?
Nice, that checks out.
Inspired to explore from your content!!
Thank ya
No thank you! Hopefully a Mexico update will come out by the end of this week
Great video!
Mike thanks a ton my friend! Also if you don’t mind me asking, how to you come across the video?
Wow!😮
It was awesome meeting you J! I hope your travels continue to go well as well as your channel!
Love it bro! I just got a cb500x!

If you set up some way for us to support you, let me know. I would be glad to send some monetary love your way.
@@dynomike4142 Mike that's actually so nice of you! Im gonna frame this comment Mike! I told myself I would create a way to donate or support the channel financially the day someone asked. You are the first person to ask. I did have a guy named Antar who helped me get a plane ticket here in Mexico through the airline he works for. But you would be the first person to ask me for a way to donate. Ill look into getting that setup, I gotta do some more research on the best ways to set that up for the future. For the short time I do have Venmo.. Do you have that?
@@LandonBishoff I think there is a way to do it through TH-cam. Like a member of your TH-cam channel. There is also Patreon. You can also post your crypto wallet public address. I suggest XRP...it's way cheaper to send crypto. Unless it is Bitcoin or ether. Those are expensive.
Awesome channel
Thanks my friend! Glad your liking it
Ive gotten addicted to your videos... just getting started. Did you have a video that covered your riding setup? Im interested in tires, luggage, riding gear, etc.
And yeah that's a great idea, ill defiantly look into that for the Utah trip
badass
Well thanks my friend! Just tryna make my mamma proud haha
from England it is great to see this, thankyou so much and i look forward to the rest of the series - i love the states, not done much of it on 2 wheels but travelled a lot in van with the family - maybe one day i get to enjoy it on a bike like you are, i ride exc510 here too - proper machine :-) i will be travelling from England, across europe to Russia next year i think - this will be majority off road :-) - been to mongolia before on a ducati monster which was mental but was pretty much all road - some of it i wouldn't call roads though 😂
From England! So cool haha, probably one of my favorite things about making these videos is hearing from people like yourself from far away. From what I can see Mongolia is a dream forsure! I’ve never even been to any part of Europe yet 😬 and thanks yeah I’m currently in Baja right now filming everything down here having a blast
@@LandonBishoff UK and over to europe has a lot of crazy riding and culture to offer if you ever get chance you should do it :-) baja :-) woah, have a great and enjoyable time
Great video!
I think I was running to soft of a tire on the BDRs for what I was doing.
you are awesome !!
Well thank you my friend! Im sure with a name like Baja Explorer you probably are as well!👍
Great job👍
Thanks brother
Garmin InReach Mini bro.
Yup! That’s what I carry👍 super cool product, my family can track me and what not
That crash was a tap on the shoulder from someone up above.
100% agree my friend! That crash was such a huge lesson to me!
I'm enjoying your Mexico video's, keep it up, you've got a great talent for filming.
thanks
Your welcome my friend!
The best part. ( you cant wait for noone......... thx.
Hahha Joshua your totally right! Riding alone you get to be completely selfish! Ride as fast or as far as you want in the day.
gteat enthusiasm and camera work
Thanks Lee! I’ll try and keep ‘em coming your way!
You didn’t hit a washout, you hit the Grand Canyon holy shit you got lucky.
Haha yeah and the video never does it justice. I was defiantly blessed with some safety there forsure. It was a great thing to happen to me. It defiantly taught me a lot in that moment!
what % of the AZ BDR was tar ? Should I use modified ktm 500 or BMW 800gs ?
Jeffrey thanks for your patience on my response! If I had to guess id say its about 70% off-road. give or take haha. It just depends on your skill level and what not. Also it depends on what you enjoy riding more. The BMW can defiantly take you through it. The KTM 500 is honestly probably overkill for it. The KTM 500 is just the bike I own so I take it. Also Im always willing to sacrifice comfort to be able to access any terrain I want. Id say either way you'll have fun, but plenty of people do that trip on big bikes. So you don't "need" the 500 its just if you'd prefer it.
are you an auto tech too?
No I’m not.. why?
saw the tool hoodie!@@LandonBishoff
Ahhh okay haha yeah when I was in High school I worked as a mechanic. I started off just doing oil and then little by little they would give me bigger stuff to eventually I didn't change oil anymore. I wouldn't call myself an auto tech. I can fix lots of things, but the magic is in diagnosing... Thats where I lack experience haha. Spent a good amount of money on the Matco & Snap on truck haha
Why would u want tubeless tires. I would think tubes would be better. To be able to patch
Hi mate Aussie guy here I'd be keen to come on an adventure with u pretty capable rider done a few bike adventure in Asia this yr would love to come over and join u on a ride
