It's strange but pretty cool this randomly popped up on my suggestions... For 10 years I had a Nicet Level 2 fire alarm technician license here in Detroit while working for a local alarm company. Simplex was the biggest name in fire alarm technology back then too. Side note : also I once used a simplex 48v alarm power supply to power a 100ft long HO slot car track. Their parts were of very high quality. I'm sure they still are.
I don't know if you have a lot of experience with voice evac systems, but on real systems in the wild does the voice message play only once and then continue the tone forever or alternate between them repetitively?
