This show is so incredible. But knowing Angus Cloud passed away, im not sure the show will ever feel the same. I'm hopeful that as much as the fans and his fellow actors loved him, they will honor him well in the next season. RIP to an incredibly talented young man . All we can do now is honor him, watching his flawless portrayal of Fezco.
I honestly hope they don’t continue the show. As of right now, it wouldn’t be coming out for another few years, and without the full cast, I can’t see how it’d be very enjoyable. Angus as Fez really made it enjoyable, and I cannot imagine the show without him. :/
They’ve already written the script with him in it but now there not sure where to re write the script or just stop the show all together. The cast and crew are really struggling right now.
@@reeanncraig5263 yea it's hard. I'd imagine if they still go through with the show that they'd have to probably write him off as having gone to jail for life and that finale was our (viewers and characters) last time seeing him. Pretty tough end for his character and who knows how that will changed the already written storylines. RIP Angus
I think that the reason why people say this show glamorizes drugs is because of the way US culture is (I don't know about other countries, but it's probably similar in other places of the world). Drugs have been so heavily demonized to the point that even acknowledging that they can be fun or cool to a lot of people is considered glamorizing them. Even if the story shows that the consequences of drug abuse aren't nearly worth the high, the fact that the show is acknowledging that there are even some potential reasons why someone might turn to drug use makes some of those who are uneducated about drug use uneasy. The other reason is that Euphoria is naturally a glamorous show. It has beautiful visuals and music, and often it's not too crazy to say that it's a work of art. And the story happens to also be about drug use, and these two things can be easily inflated if you don't actually watch the show, but just see a tiktok clip of it.
AH YEA. Been waiting for you to drop Season 2...it's going to be a wild ride. This first episode was crazy and sets a good tone and focus for the rest of the season . Great acting and story lines in my opinion with some truly jaw dropping events happening...Enjoy as I know will enjoy your reactions to Season 2 episodes.
27:24 The show shows both sides of drugs. It shows it in a negative light, mostly with Rue and Fez. It shows it a lot in a positive light also with the euphoric feelings scenes, with them socializing with each other over drugs (Hey girl you wanna smoke a blunt in the bathroom, Hey boy I'll tell you my drugs if you tell me yours), etc. Which is good, because that's the reality of drugs.
I already miss Angus so much! Also this show is so anxiety inducing but its a great portrayal of mistakes teens make when they think nothing is that serious long term. very accurate in a lot of high schools which is wild.
I have so much fun watching the video and I was so excited to see yours reaction to Fezz beating Nate's ass and I just remember what happened with Angus Cloud.... Now I'm really sad again, that's horrible, we all gonna miss him so much💔💔💔
Beat the breaks off that man, this what i imagine when ppl say imma knock ya head of your shoulders. The national memes everyone had after this ep was so funny
When you get to the final episode you’ll notice the Easter egg back on the first episode where rue explains Fezco lost some of his memory in the red blur scene. Rest well angus 🕊️
@@adrianalvarez6700 when rue talks about fez losing some of his memories when the screen is orange and distorted you see see a still shot of ashtray right before the cop kills him in the final episode
28:00 That's because you have life experience and a fully developed brain. But a lot 13-18 year olds love this show too. And a lot of them are so bored, they'd love to have that drama in their life. Just saying.
That's fair, but this is a show targeted towards adults, in an adult network, with adult actors. If teenagers run the risk of being "influenced" by Euphoria then is up to the parents to make sure they don't watch it. It's not the show's job to babysit your kids.
@@tomasmaniago5832 Regardless, millions of teenagers are obsessed with this show, it's one of its main demographics. Parents can't control what their kids watch any more than they can control any of the destructive behaviors (from smoking to shooting their classmates). So the show may not be liable, but it is very irresponsible
@@bernardsoul5186 It's not the show's job to parent your kid. Just have an honest conversation with them instead of trying to control their lives all the time.
@@marvelousmia I meaannn.. he wasn't the only one if I remembered and he does have a point. If he sees it and finds it uncomfortable and weird based on the objectively weird actions of Nate I don't think that warrants a side eye for Chris. Also, so what if its sus? As a gay guy myself, I love seeing sus stuff. 🙃
RIP FEZ ! Ps . I guess I’m in the minority when it comes to house parties, almost every single one looked somewhat like they depict on the show . A lot of reactors say their parties on here are far fetched but this is actually how some teenage house parties go
27:59 season one does glamorize if you take away your bias of knowing the harm drug use causes, it’s 2023 to a 12yo that gets a hold of watching this (because trust me there’s so many kids out there that have gone behind their parents back to watch inappropriate shows when I was a kid I would) that doesn’t understand the real life repercussions that comes with drug use. they showed a decant amount of withdrawal in season one but, My worry and opinion comes from kids like me when I was younger and my now 12yo cousin seeing these kind of shows without knowing the acc repercussion that comes with this because she at a very impressionable and has already watch some questionable stuff behind her parents back leaving me to fill in the blanks so she doesn’t take what looks “cool” in her opinion and runs with it, this season is a much deeper look because last season wasn’t inaccurate it was just ig lacking substance in that area is a way to put it but season 2 ep 5 is a good representation of repercussions for drug use and the following episode are also phenomenal for showing the repair process afterwards
I don’t think a lot of people realize that in this episode….Nate was manipulating Cassie, and he actually raped her. Abusers tend to prey on the weak minded, and those who are vulnerable…..Cassie is exactly that, and Nate knew that so he took advantage of that. Now, a lot of people don’t think Cassie was that drunk in this episode because of her reaction to Maddy banging in the door but I’d like to point put two factors: 1- in the beginning of the show during the party, Lexi told Maddy that Cassie had been drinking, but she never made it specific as to how much alcohol Cassie had….then, we see Nate give her beer outside the store and if I’m correct about this, he gave her another one in his truck and 2: it doesn’t make a difference if you’re tipsy, or fully drunk…..even if you’re already in a loud environment (a party) any other extremely loud sound that you’re not expecting that isn’t from the music playing, is gonna scare you. Cassie reacted like how most people would react…..you’re not expecting someone to be banging on the door like that, so of course she’d be scared. Now yes, Cassie was wrong for hooking up with Nate but Nate knew that Cassie was McKay’s ex (his best friend) and Maddy’s best friend, yet he still chose to hook up with her. Also, even though Cassie said yes to hooking up with him, she was under the influence of alcohol so she wasn’t in her right mind. Any yes that is said under the influence of drugs or alcohol isn’t a real yes, because the person isn’t fully aware of the situation.
I have so much mixed feelings about this season...on one hand the whole Cassie-Nate-Maddie thing was the highlight of the season and the absolute drama it gave me was so freaking entertaining...on the other hand i think it completely character assasinated almost all the favourite characters on the show....everyone made horrible decisions on the show and unlike the last season where they gave the background and thought process of each characters that made them feel liek their actions were justified, this season there was so such internal justification for the characters....i feel like the show would have been better we we had a little bit more of a time jump and the terrible decisions characters made be justified through flashbacks of what happened to them between the seasons...like they absolutely made me hate Cassie, Jules and Kat for no reason...also not gonna lie Sydney Sweeney as Cassie absolutely carried this season and if she doesnt get a nomination, it will be such a shame

This season is sooo entertaining. Like they really ramped up the drama in such a fun way

I mean u cant be mad that Rue was honest abt when she relapsed when Jules literally wanted to know, she asked a question and got a true answer 🤷♀️
Right. Don’t ask a question you don’t want the answer to
I’m happy you’re the only one that actually understands. People always get mad at her but don’t understand people with that problem.
