She iced that girl out of the offense when she averaged 15 points last season. And on the "letting her girl score" part that was obviously Kelsey's fault for letting her get in front. She was the one not playing well. And this was dumb, you announce you’re gone when you have a new team. Because she could end up on a worst team making less money.
@@marcbrooks1 So picture this. You just came off a 15 point 9 rebounds a game season and you enter a new year and the whole offense gets changed. Now everyone has to adapt to fit into a certain play style that they're not used to. Come to find out you don't fit at all. Now that you don't fit this offense it makes you look worse than you actually are and now that new fans are watching you get harassed by them cause you're not performing up to par. And on top of that you look less attractive to teams cause of a bad year. She was in a terrible situation. And it's obvious you know nothing about basketball. And btw she most likely doesn't care about the money or how good the team is. She was probably ready to get away from that dumb ass coach and y'all stupid ass fans.💀

I mean there is a town called brownsburg one called whitestown (actually more black people there than brownsburg lol) and another called, zionsville. You can't make this shit up. But most of the people are great. But I get what you mean. She really is the best shooter and scorer on the Fever. That's just facts. CC has better range and a green light to shoot but Mitchell is the better pure shooter and scorer.

Well Mitchell can stay and help grow a championship team, average 20+ points a game and become a superstar or can go back to being a very good 16 point shooter on another team.
The thing is any solid shooter in the league will thrive playing with Clark.
Indiana is rebuilding their roster. Smith is one of multiple players that don’t fit the team’s offense. Mitchell isn’t going anywhere unless she simply wants out. They can easily offer her a one year max contract. Smith is under contract but her role diminished late in the season. I expect her to get picked up by the expansion team or outright traded. The fever are looking at Gabby Williams, Satu or Natasha Howard to replace Smith. Temi is a UFA and will probably be back but not as a starter.

So what if she stays or goes??? How many of these players have gone on from team to team. One minute she’s rightly criticized for not producing and the next minute everyone forgets and she has somehow been mistreated. Change is opportunity. However minutes are not guaranteed and she will have to play a lot harder to get and maintain them. The best players are top five on every team not just Fever and greater rookies are graduating every four years. It’s a business folks not just a game.
Smith is a solid rotation player, I don't think she is a starter in the W. Hull started on the bench and outworked her to claim a starting spot. Now they need to find a fifth starter in free agency.
