These are some of the institutions Nigeria built before it found corruption. Today, the leaders will struggle to build anything close these Universities due to corruption.Universities are massive in Africa and so is the campuses. University campuses in Europe is like secondary school play ground in Africa.😅Nice one! And behind is the 3rd mainland bridge, the longest bridge in Africa.Thank you.
You all just come here to talk rubbish as if Nigeria is the only corrupt country on earth..Enjoy the video and go f off with your negative comment nobody cares
That's the problem with us, we puerily look to government ( 99.9% of the time, the president and federal government) for everything in Nigeria! Universities are not founded by governments , neither are they run by government! It is in Nigeria that the federal government is paying lecturers and staff of universities!! This might have made sense in the first 10 years of our independence, and no more! 64 years on , the Nigerian government is still paying lecturers wages and is still being held to ransom by ASUU strikes and other protesting activities! Government should only be issuing grants to thriving universities and especially for certain research and studies!! Otherwise, institutions like the missionaries, civic institutions and private citizens should be establishing and funding our universities!!! The corruption ( or better yet the mismanagement) wouldn't be evident if universities were run by other entities rather than by government!! As a matter of fact, this should be the case for just about every sphere of human endeavours!! That is why Dangote refinery will thrive and survive that the government built refineries, because it is privately owned! It is harrowing how Nigerians want change or say they want change, but are rigidly difficult and unsusceptible to changes when proffered! 👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!!
I don't really agree. And I think such notion is what is making Tinubu govt become notorious. In many countries University education are funded by the state including for immigrants.
@@aframaco9491 Meanwhile many Universities in Ghana are run by government. The lecturers and workers there are on government payroll. Even in South Africa and many places governments run their Unis
@@dennisbrown7930 Here we go again with the Ghanaian comparisons! There are 15 universities in Ghana and 125 government run universities in Nigeria! There is clearly no room for comparison! That is not counting the 149 private universities in Nigeria! Now that i will applaud, indeed the biggest university in Nigeria at this time is the privately owned Covenant university! Even though it opened only in 2002, its alumni are some of the most talented people in recent times!! I insist that governments should be willing supporters of universities but not to solely run them! The Harvard, Yale, Princeton, and the other so called Ivy league universities were all privately founded and funded. Waiting on government to perform miracles in terms of quality tertiary education , particularly in Nigeria can be difficult! 👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!
😂😂😂😂 You sound as if it is up to the vlogger to paint the buildings at Unilag!!! The man has done amazingly well just filming this video for us 😂😂! 👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!!
The present leadership we have in Nigeria can never replicate this. Nigeria my country has been hijacked by lunatics, looters and thieves and by people who has no business being in power. The labor of our heroes past is gone . The integrity of Nigeria is questioned every where because of her leadership

This is what we are used to as normal universities. We don’t go out of our way to feature normal and talk about it. But we have seen some really horrible university campuses, and because of the shock we can’t help but talk about it. So, over to you.
Lol the thing is Lagos is trying to get better which is why I'm making these videos so they know we take notice and encourage them to do more. It's same thing I want to do across as many African countries as I can.

Is it the Camera quality we should talk about or the fact that the buildings are begging for paints?
Take your negativity to your fading house. So other country's universities have all their buildings repainted? @@dennisbrown7930

Why should you care if they don't comment. Why would you even want to be involved in a useless social media spats in the first place.
Maybe you should go to Uniport and see what is called university
U mean uniport is more beautiful then this university of Lagos.

Uniport ke.
LiessI Am an alumnus of uniport. Unilag is more beautiful
Must there be comparison every time? Can’t people like you just appreciate what is being shown without creating controversy?

You are a great videographer
The Unilag we all know does not look this beautiful.

I agree that Lagos is trying to get better but not Unilag campus 😁
We were there for FASU Games just some few days ago
You needed to drive further in. The sports arena is almost at the entrance of the campus
@@AfricaViewReport We toured the campus when we were there
